To prevent ToEE being ransacked on Live day one you would have to highly limit access on Llama.

Llama is used to learn the Quest, and exploits, to use that info on Live.

It is a HUGE letdown to join a group for new content the day it is out only to have one or more in the group ruin the whole experience for everyone else because the ran it to death on Llama.

Agree that Lammania testing + raid bypass timers pretty much kills every new raid for me on day one now (I participate in neither)

    Me 3.

I'll test content on Lamma, but never a raid. I like to enjoy those with my guild.

You're robbing your self of some great amusement not seeing raids in an early broken state. 2000+ point damage blue-clouds were hysterical in Mark of Death.

Haha -- I bet. I've done my fair share of breaking, ermm, testing in DDO over the years and in many other games. Its ALWAYS fun, one way or another

Mark of Death Lamma vs1 was hilariously broken. Even though reentry was possible. I usually ended up being teleported and was dead before my loading screen even finished. So balanced

So I'm wondering, where will the Temple be placed?

FR is convenient, since the story is closely tied to various deities (including Lolth, who is already in the game).

In Eberron, we already have a quest about a cult of Jubilex (the Pit), and Jubilex co-exists with Zuggtmoy, the evil overlord of the Temple.

Or, perhaps, will they simply port us to another realm again (Greyhawk), as per the original module?

Realistically, I see ToEE as being a simple quest entrance somewhere in the Eveningstar village. If they made it more difficult to access, it would get tedious very quickly. If DDO history has taught us anything, (restless isles) it's that getting to the quest shouldn't be annoying if they want people to play the quest regularly. The southwestern end of the village is wide open for new questage.

I'd be against another realm/plane to port to. I can appreciate the lore aspect, but ultimately it comes down to convenience for me, given that DDO is a game of repetition and farming. It can be incredibly annoying to get from Eberron to FR if you start to use your key and realize you're out of teleport/raise/restoration scrolls. If you haven't opened up the Harbor portal, you're stuck with logging out and logging back in through the clunky Hall of Heroes. Personally, I wouldn't want to deal with another cooldown/logout required for porting to Greyhawk, no matter how cool it is. In the words of the Dead Kennedy's, Give Me Convenience or Give Me Death.

I'm really hoping for some unusual named items that tie into the theme of the quest.

It's not going to be entered from the toilet known as eveningstsr it has a heroic version so that's right out. It's not going to be part of Eberron or the better they were forgotten realms it will be separate.

It will be entered I am guessing from the hall of heros it is in Greyhawk but they aren't really giving us greyhawk at least not for now.

They shouldn't be any named items that fit the world but hopefully we will, have some classic GH items

You can easily use your key to get to eveningstar at level 1, assuming you earned enough PDK favor to get it. I haven't tried the Hall of Heroes, but that should also work. I'd prefer somewhere in Stormreach for the convenience factor. Either way, it'll be very welcome to have a new quest to run at heroic levels, hopefully somewhere between level 9 and 13.

Your way wouldn't be possible for a first life even with the hall so its not going to be in the realms 1000000000000000%

I haven't re-red the thread to see if someone else suggested this already.

The entrance should be the Gyax memorial in Delera's graveyard. Click on it and get an option to teleport to The temple.

    Simple and appropriate,

Can people enter the graveyard if they haven't got the pack? If so I say its a great idea.

They changed it too a public area when they first created Mabar and just left it that way. So anyone can go in they just can't run the quests.
