Anyhoo…another good night, several more people are trained and
able to complete roles they previously could not.

Want to let everyone know, for our "real" run after the training. We had 2 people handle goggles that did really well in the training (think this was their first night of training) and they did well while Tobril and I did ice.

Want to say if you want to learn things these training raids are worth your time. Just make sure you are not running an xp or loot boost and be ready to ask questions. And open to learn.

Off-topic:

In an old campaign long long ago... One of those 'special' fighters, intel of 4. So insanely strong that he really didn't need to swing a big weapon, so party made him carry a rock in his right hand, and a stick in his left. (He *did* know what rocks & sticks were!)
From then on, the party never referred to "left" or "right" - it was all "stick" or "rock".

/Digression. The right/left thing just reminded me of that old game.

The actual raid last night went fairly well, especially as
I take people I don't know/remember.

There are now about a half dozen or more people in
the Defense channel that I would trust 100% to take
any role, many of these people had limited/no previous
experience in certain rooms.



Good job all around and thank you everyone who participated.

I'll keep running abbots on Wednesdays for the next...awhile...
and will be available for a bit afterwards to discuss the raid.

The next month or so though I'm working on gianthold prep
and won't run any planned events until I get my new shinies.

I joined the training because I was hoping one of my friends also was, and I wanted to show him stuff...but the first run, he forgot and was in the middle of a epic von5-6, but then the 2nd training run, I saw he joined a different group was in redfens Still it was fun being in the run anyway

It's too bad I can't see him try to lead an abbot saturday morning having never done it. That would be so much more entertaining than my normal saturday mornings...actually, maybe not as much as I first thought, he would probably just give me the star...
