This is probably the best and most descriptive map for green I have ever seen. Nice! You should put your name on it so cred can be put where cred is due.

    A quick notes though,

Position 3/Downstairs is correct, but not complete.

    Tonight is the night!

Of note, I'm feeling particularly bad due to illness so probably won't attend the entire session.

I will still organize the event and throw up the LFM, turning it over to Kages when we fill.

Thank you for the praise, and the suggestion.

I have been struggling with the image resolution through Photobucket. They seem to be rendering down some, and makes some of the stuff harder to see. Though, in the version that I linked there, I make the power path somewhat translucent so that you could see the sigil number.

In the raw excel spreadsheet, it is obvious that the power runs through sigil #3 and that it the path was made translucent for label visibility.

I'm hoping to have a final product out that includes some steps in the white space at the bottom.

Anyway, good luck with your teaching runs tonight! Chattering Rings, Titanic Docents, and Seven Fingered Gloves for all!

    Default Success!

Congratulations to all those that where able to stick around. It was a successful run. Considering all that was put into Part 1 with all the puzzles it took about 3 hours to go through everything and make sure everyone got to see each puzzle. I want to appologize for the 2 people that ran out of time due to real life and hope that I can get you in on casual runs later in the week and/or next week. Feel free to message me here or in game and I'll try to set something up.

Titan is definately something that takes multiple runs to learn everything. Using the tools on ddowiki.com and the forums here, I hope all of you keep hitting this raid up. Titan is definately one of my favorites.

The computer I am on at the moment isn't my good one so I was unable to get any good screenshots.

Special thanks to Tobril for organizing this. I had a lot of fun and hope to help out in more training runs. Thanks and have a wonderful day folks.

Nobody, unfortunately. All we got was a Battle Coin.

    Nice job guys!

Good to hear you had a win, even better everyone saw all the puzzles.

I'd be pretty interested in any screenshots or testimonials from the event, especially as I wussed out due to having the plague. (mad props to Kages and other helpers for doing the heavy lifting this time)

    lol

I'm a little surprised actually. All the other training sessions dropped lewtz like crazy.

Obviously we need a session on proper chest handling.

Heh. Second question. How many people did Kages kill with a pillar?

It IS Titan though, we all know how horribly stingy that hunk of metal is.

    Default Awesome group

You guys did a great job teaching this, and it was much appreciated.

I really regretted that I had to leave before completion, I really had no idea how long it would take and I just ran out of time. To make sure I could focus, I had told the family that I would be out of pocket for an hour and a half, and when that came and went, I had to go. : /

I was pretty impressed that they left me to it for that long, though, given that it was a weeknight. I rarely do raids because of that. Quests with friends aren't a big deal, but when that many strangers are relying on me to be attentive and do my part, it makes it tougher. I don't do them unless I can commit.

You guys were really accomodating in letting me stick around afk in case I made it back in time to catch up, and I appreciated that too.

One part that I found really amusing was when three of us were running around killing the ogres behind the elemental cannons, we came across a chest. We all seemed to figure it was a loot chest, but none of us would pop it because we were "in training." We must've stood there for thirty seconds waiting for a reply when we asked, and I finally just ended up leaving it because it didn't feel worth it to risk making a mistake. We were doing exactly what we were told, nothing more, so we didn't screw it up. It was just amusing to me, after the fact.

I hope to catch a later wave, and I'll make sure I have plenty of time. I highly recommend anyone new to the quest catch one of these training groups, if you can. I learned a lot.

    -- edit add --

I was Noos in that quest, btw.

Thanks to Tobril for setting this up, and especially to Kages and Grieve for teaching us the raid. I learned a ton, and managed to stay and see both the red and green puzzles. I did end up catching some serious wife aggro for not getting the kids in bed, but it was definately worth it. Looking forward to the next one.

    Default Very Educational

Was a great run. Very long and very educational. Thanks to Tobril for organizing, sorry you couldn't make it and hope you're feeling better. And big thanks to Kages, Crankthis (Grieve), and Drowenna (did I spell that right?) for their very meticulous educating. All were very helpful and newb friendly. Also, thanks to my fellow newbs in the group for being willing to learn and follow instructions.

I'm sure it will take several more runs to get it down to a routine, but I certainly know enough to join those occasional pugs I see and feel like I can contribute.

And yeah, battle coin, meh. But the education alone made it more than worthwhile.

Forgot to get screenshots, sorry Tobril.

Looking forward to more training runs and I hope I can make it to them.

I put Titans up whenever I'm off timer, generally 9PM-1AM EST. I usually say something in Defense. I'm happy to help people learn short of endangering completion.

I purposely stood under the laser after it was over. I was wondering if it had a save or not. It killed me outright, no damage displayed, no save, just said that the laser killed me.

I do want to thank everyone. I learned a lot. I've done quite a few, but always in the roll of ladder piker and typically running thru part 1 after completed. Things I didn't know before:

*Puzzles, but I took a lot of notes (would've taken a screen shot, but don't know how, guess I need to figure that out)
*Limited number of crystals (I did know that you needed the right color to go down the corresponding hall)
    *Levers that control invisible floors
*The Laser (never saw the control panel before this run)
*I was put on the Laser, didn't know that you dropped a pillar on him first and then fired laser

Had another guildy come when all spots didn't fill, so I think I have enough info to be dangerous now. I think I will drag a few of our guild thru a run once I'm off timer. I'll let all know how it goes. Once I'm confortable, I'll start throwing up LFM's.
