I have a horc barb or a defender pally that can tank (187% and 233% heal amp both over 800 hp pally has enough ac to matter) both have threat amp and hold aggro fine. Also have a sorc i can shadow kite with. I'll be on Yrruun, Bashzer, Hrruun, or most likely leveling my TR sparkstar. Just let me know what you need if you're missing something.

We are sorta full now, as I’d like to use the last two slots for helpers.

Sign up anyhow though, as people sometimes can’t make it. I could
also be easily convinced to run another if there is overflow.

Other people have expressed interest in taking new people as well,
so there should be ample opportunity to get a good first run.

I learned about those Bracers shortly after writing my post, and I'm definitely going to get a set of those, probably the lvl 12 with a +1 dodge crafted on them (Epic Grim's will have my dodge 3). I do have a fair amount of gear waiting for me when I hit 20 (Swashbuckler, Cavalry Plate, 3-pc Abishai, a seal or shard away from a few other bits) so I don't want to invest too much into gear I'm only going to use for my last two levels.

I guess I'll just concentrate on levelling and save the real tanking for when I'm capped.

Anyway, Tobril I was talking to a friend earlier who mentioned he'd love to help go as a helper. He would post in the thread, but unfortunately his forum account is bugged out and he can't post here. His character is a human (str based) light monk named Tolab.

Not sure if a second party is in order just yet, but it looks like lots of people are super willing to help out the newer folks! Hopefully more new people see this and try and join. A second party is definitely not a bad thing

Count me in as a helper, currently only 3 of my toons r at ToD lvl range and ready, I've TR'ed the rest of them. So u can count me in with Wrothgard a barb, Nvaddams a rogue assassin or Illendar Fighter WF Stalwart. Illendar is not well equiped to be 95% untouched by horo, but against suulo it's a miss festival.

Post a second raid group I'll take the lead on that one and feel free to move people around as needed. If need be, we can adjust timing a little bit to be either slightly earlier or later to accomodate more people. I'll leave logistics up to you for the timing. Just let me know what you decide.

id just like to take a second to say if your new to this raid youve got the perfect person in tobril to teach you what is what, ive done a couple of other learning raids with him and must say everything is explained perfectly and im sure while learning this your have a great time to. to all i hope you have a great time and the best of luck with the chests . to tobril keep up the good work a credit to the community

I'm missing iron and artifact on my fighter (Herweg, on my sig) to complete the boots, but he is on high-60 beholder AC, and may reach high 70 when raid buffed. Also, he has 700 HP on stance and god-like fortitude. I have experience tanking Sully on VoD.

On the other hand, he is kinda poorly-equipped. I have a tier 1 epic cav plate, crafted +4 seeker 6 mith tower of incite 20%, crafted +4 holy silver daxe of LOB, and holy/acid gs daxe (going to be min 2 with +4 insight AC). No healing amplification other than ship buffs.

I have a WF air sorcerer flagged too (Mecanico, also on sig), and since boots mats are unbound, I can put the boots on him. But I would prefer to run on my fighter.

I'll keep you guys updated.

There has also been some talk of “boot assistance”, anyone interested

Lol. Group two looks like it's going to be a bunch of helpers, at this rate.

I'd sent one guy the link here after he'd joined my ToD group as one of our healers, only to find out he isn't flagged... oh well. Had high hopes he'd at least flag himself and sign up. But then again, he thought the raid he was signing up for was in Gianthold, so maybe that was hoping for too much.

Either way, I bump this for great Justice. If you're on Sarlona, and new or even new'ish to ToD, take advantage of this second group!

I'd love to bring Algorithm, Sadcat, or Funn to the second group. I've been wanting to learn this raid for a long time, to the point of having 3 pairs of boots without ever going inside TOD. My problem is timing....I can't say for sure that I'll be available until about an hour later, although I _might_ be able to make it earlier.

One thing is for certain, I'll be off timer.

If you have someone else that wants to take the heal spot to learn I would happily step aside and allow someone else to learn. I ended up healing my first ToD on Friday night after about 4 glasses of wine So I can it seems heal it pretty drunk without too much issue.
