Cannot believe I missed reading this thread until now! Always wanted to run Vision of Destruction without people screaming at me "Newb! You should have been able to heal all of us!" even when they did not explain to me any strategy or even what the heck we were supposed to do. Hope you do this again, cannot believe I missed this great opportunity...
I get home from work in 2 hours, my fvs is off timer, I'll put up a newbie friendly run, your welcome to join on the condition that you won't chug any pots.
I'm not quite as patient as Tobril I will stack it with people I know will win if we had to shortman but I'm willing to help you through so long as you can appreciate I'll try give advice before, but won't answer your questions until after the raid.
I was kind of making a (sick) joke. I have, however, run with rogue builds that they were assasin spec and had ZERO skill points into open lock/disable traps. Come to think of it, I think they also had no points into Con either.
Those are the players you don't even waste your time giving the /Reroll advice to. They will learn soon enough.
The way I look at it: If my strength base gimp a$$ assasin rogue can do EPIC traps without fail, any rogue is capable of doing traps.
