Water Savant secondary line: ¿force or acid?

Hi!

My first char and my first post. I'm working on a Water Savant (Lv 8 nowaday) and have selected Force as secondary line -magic missiles and so on-, but I have realised force has not AoE spells. I'm planning to change enhacements and try Acid line. ¿Is it more compatible with Water, or I would have problems in future?

¿Or am I absolutly wrong, and either lines are less compatible with Water?

id say lightning would be the most compatible. Though at lv 8 id of taken fire. Mainly cause niacs outright sucks until you have the extra levels for it with heighten. **** thing seems to save more then hit.

Chain Missiles is the force AoE.

Cold primary / acid secondary works fine. There are very few targets immune to both, and ice storm / acid rain work great together.

You lose out on electric surge, which is offset a little by gaining melfs.
Still, my cold savant will remain secondary electricity for maximum DoTs.

I'd choose lightning over acid also because of the Elec DOT

This. Trash is irrelevant, you can kill it with whatever. Eladar's + Niac's in a triple stack is ~500 DPS
if you can maintain it (some people have issues staying alive )

So ice would be a good secondary line for an air servant too?
