Yes. The +2 to saves stacks and also works against non-evil casters. Pro:Evil is one of the most useful spells in the game. Never be without it.

Yup, tested this in a bar some time ago.

Of note, the pro-evil trinket from the quest that the silver bow drops from in house P did not stop command. Not sure if that was a bug or something else, but was interesting to observe.

not sure if it's accurate, but sound burst in the wiki says it allows SR.

    7th
    Mass Protection
    Resurrection
    MCSW

Probably for the stun component. I've not got it on my FvS, but my Cleric does, unfortunately shes parked in order to prevent her from outleveling a guildy. Again.

My initial guesses were pretty close to what actually gets used
a lot, here is how my newly capped go-bot is configured:

    1st
    Divine Favour
    Remove Fear
    Nightshield
    Obscuring Mist

    2nd
    Resist Energy
    Lesser Restore
    Summon II
    Eagle Splendor

    3rd
    Magic Circle
    Prayer
    Searing Light
    Remove Curse

    4th
    Divine Power
    Freedom
    Recitation
Neutralize Poison (enough whiny bastards cried enough so I caved)

    5th
    MCLW
    Break Enchantment
    True Seeing
    SR

    6th
    Heal
    BB
    MCMW

    7th
    Mass Protection
    Resurrection
Greater Restore (swap for MCSW if two mass cures are not enough for EDQ)

    8th
    Holy Aura
    Mass DW
    Summon VIII

    9th
    Mass Heal
    True Resurrection
    Enervation

    A few notes/observations:

I’ve been criticized for paying more attention to keeping the air elemental healed than my party.

Two raise spells and scrolls have been enough to salvage “ZOMG EVERYONE IS DEAD” situations
like healing through inferno only to find you were the sole survivor.

SR does stop the stun from soundburst. Totally worthwhile for leveling, farming dreaming dark
for fast gold/high-level-random-loot, various future-proofing, etc. Not so useful in most epics
after a little bit of re-testing.

Summon I scrolls are handy for stopping rampaging elementals.

Haven’t healed an EDQ yet, as such am unsure if two mass cures are enough.

Thanks to some testing of the new 5th level light spell it’s
time for spell resistance to take a flying leap in favor of
    the new hotness.

Also traded out greater restoration for cure serious mass.

I find a use for every cure spell, even light for rogues and arcanes who don't need 300 hit point heals.

I'd also swap out break enchantment over mass SR.

Also, you'll want both a triple positive green steel, and a radiance for update 9.

    Cure Light?

    Sorry, I don’t heal papercuts.

You’d better be missing a few limbs and have several compound
fractures before you even think about tricking me into hitting one
of the silly little red/white buttons that stop me from hitting things.

    LOL!

10 hit points left in the group...

"Can we get a heal NOW?!"

Just don't fall in to the trap of thinking you're all DPS all the time. You can do lots of things at once, my favored soul is healer first, fighter second. But I think that's mostly because I'm so abysmally equipped.

Why Prayer? All it does is get taken over by your Holy Aura/Recitation/Divine Power trio. And those three have the same timer or longer as Prayer.

Perhaps you should consider an alternate L3 spell. I wish I had my spell list so I could tell what I had.

    Must haves post Update 9

    Lvl 5
NEW - Divine Punishment: Cost is 25 sp. The spell deals 1d6 + 1 per caster level of light damage to a single target for 16 seconds. The cooldown is 10 seconds. This damage over time spell can be stacked up to three times on a target, doubling and then tripling damage.

With the new Prestige class you will have lots of light amp and this does a good amount of damage.

    Level 8
Symbol of Death: The spell no longer has a hit point cap limit, but now does energy drain damage instead of causing death. The cooldown is now 80 seconds.

Kite stuff through this and it all takes neg levels every time. Will be essential for epic's even if your not using instakill's yourself.

Tobril, I am doing the same as you. Unfortunately I've been dubbed competent by some players so that will make piking a pain

I was actually just pondering my spell list and this will be a big help.

    Kambuk,

How well does symbol of death work on a wisdom dumped lord of blades build?

Did they remove the save from this or something? If not, it's Fort save to negate, so still useless for a Wis dumped WF FvS.

    10 HP?

That's 9 more than you need...

As such I’m working on the best all-around list that can handle most epics/raids. (maybe a little questing/farming as well)

Based on recent experiences I want all three raise options. (the need to save abbot-gone-awry or other mass wipes has been pretty common) I stuck with true res/res and scroll raise dead if necessary, raise dead as a spell won't help in the times that it's needed usually.
At least 3 mass cure timers seems like a necessity as well. (epic DQ)In U9 the 3 most SP efficient ones will be MCCW, MCLW, MCSW (in that order) I have all 4 but only ever use 3 though I haven't solo healed eDQ yet (done most other things though).

Any input from experienced elite/epic raid healers would be appreciated.

Basic build concept is a 20 WF FvS, dumped WIS, Lord of Blades, hate-tank if needed. Win! Better than caster as less hard spell choices to be made.

    1st
    Divine Favour
    Remove Fear
    Nightshield
    Obscuring Mist

    2nd
    Resist Energy
    Lesser Restore
    Remove Paralysis
    Eagle Splendor

    3rd
    Magic Circle
    Prayer
    Searing Light
Remove Curse Swap this for mass aid maybe.

    4th
    Divine Power
    Freedom
RecitationI have deathward here and don't have Mass DW
Restoration (thought about neutralize poison, but pots/wands should suffice) CCW is getting a huge efficiency boost, I'd consider having it in place of restoration and just use greater restoration and scroll restoration. With an epic ornamental dagger running it'll be almost as efficient as Heal and could have some uses (oh s***! button if heal is on timer instead of hitting a mass cure perhaps).

    5th
Raise Dead scroll it, I have SR here (as no Mass SR)
    MCLW
    Break Enchantment
True Seeing I scroll this (used 2 out of my 100 stack, most people have tharnes/something else or I make the cleric cast it) or Protection from Elements (leaning protection and carry true seeing scrolls) In U9 the new light spell will go here, it's awesome DPS la

    6th
    Heal
    BB
MCMW This is the least efficient of the mass' in U9, I'd drop this one for ... something?

Thought about harm, but most PM’s seem to be able to take care of themselves.

    7th
Mass SR I have Greater Restoration here but I guess it can be scrolled but is more expensive in those terms than other options and I find it gets regular enough use.
    Resurection
    MCSW

Greater restoration and mass protection are candidates as well. Greater restore can be scrolled and
mass protection has always seemed like it wasn’t truly needed, sort of like stalwart pact.

Epic Chainmail Coif (only need shard) will grant always-on 50% to 7th and lower cure spells, thus MCSW. I rely on Amara's/Tokala's for +75% boost to 8th and lower. Might slot greater devotion VIII on a ToD ring down the track if it's needed for healing duties.

    8th
    Holy Aura
Mass DW I have MCCW, Holy Aura and Death Pact but I don't get much use out of Death Pact as I'm so unlikely to die anyway and if I do die it wouldn't help anyway (550 HP, soon to be over 600)
Tough choice - MCSW, Death Pact, Summon VIII

I could maybe live without the fourth mass cure, especially its effectiveness is limited to amrath belt cliky duration.

Death Pact is nice, but I’m a bit torn on that one as my cleric tended to not use it often.

Air elemental from summon VIII is insanely awesome. I had this for a while but swapped it out, may swap it back in if I get rid of death pact, not sure.

    9th
    Mass Heal
    True Res
Summon IX or Enervation (enervation for sure if using summon VIII) Enervation for sure anyway, in U9 not being able to use a woo woo stick will make you want to help the casters make their holds/F2S' stick sometimes.
