Default Need help playing with myself…

I’ve recently created a F2P account with the intention of rolling
a “helper” character. This character would be ran on another
machine next to my primary system. (no I don't want to dual box or use a VM)

The current idea is to make a series of 16/2/2 bard/fighter/rogue
warchanter builds and park them at different levels.

The reason for this character is as follows:

I don’t have a bard and can’t stand the thought of exerting effort to level one
Help farm loot (he will always pass loot to me like a good little minion)
Pull levers/switches in certain quests (I hate hirelings)
    Haggle-bot
Buildable with f2p classes and races
    28 point probably isn’t a game-breaker for this build
It would take minimal gear to be useful in raids/epics
Help TR’s and new characters via different versions at different levels
Learn how to become a master piker

Any thoughts/suggestions on this topic would be appreciated.

Some advice I found on the Internets (with a few edits):

Playing with yourself is one of the easiest ways to express your personality while giving yourself extreme enjoyment. It is a form of gameplay that you perform with yourself that brings you to cap. Most people admit to playing with themselves on a fairly regular basis, and it is nothing to be ashamed of. It is a natural fact of gaming, and has been going on for years.

While playing with yourself can theoretically involve another person (a hireling), most people think of it as a very private act. Playing with yourself allows us a healthy way to explore our game world and to release tension without all the risks associated with group play. Not to mention the fact that it is simply enjoyable.

Usually it starts in the teenage years but grows as your age does. There is more opportunity to play with yourself when you are older, as well as more options and techniques that you may be more familiar with as you become more experienced. Techniques are discussed in detail here, some that you may have heard about, but others that you may be willing to try.

You should try all of them, what do you have to lose? If you find one that doesn’t work for you then move on to the next until you find something that absolutely blows your mind. Be bold and daring, try a technique that you have never considered.

We will show you general playing with yourself tips and a "how to" guide that will explain in detail all the ways to better your path to cap. Both men and women will find this very helpful, especially if haven’t learned the finer points of the innovative techniques available out there. They include store bought items and many new and different play styles you may not be aware of.

Playing with yourself can be exhilarating, stirring, and electrifying if you let it be, so go ahead, find some new moves and techniques, and most of all, find yourself. Do what makes you feel satisfied while giving yourself a whole new excitement.

And by the way: the build you have there looks fine. For end game, I'd tend to drop the cha and put those points elsewhere (str or con), but since you are planning are parking this build at various lower levels, you may get some decent benefit from the higher cha.

I would suggest dropping the fighter levels on him, and going Bard 18/Rog 2. You probably don't plan on meleeing with him much, correct?

He should be able to buff/lever pull/haggle/trap duties with no major issues, correct?

It will also give more SP over the 2 Ftr version.

Elements needed to play with yourself: Phosphorus, Oxygen and Radon.

    Your welcome.

I suppose the grease spell would also be appropriate.

Apparently I need to have someone else look at my post before I hit "submit" to ensure I don't write something unintended for the title...

TY for the input on the build, I really have no idea what I'm doing bard-wise. The buff list looks really good though, and I think it would be the easiest character build for me to park and treat like a hireling.

Regarding melee - Who knows? I might get a wild hair and try him out for real sometime. Might as well make sure he's capable of the task.
