From all accounts, it seems like the initial sleetstorm was a minor inconsiderate act in a PUG raid. I'd probably let the OP into my PUGs if they gave a real apology for wasting others' time. As it is, this is an extremely quick raid to exit and regroup for so even though I wouldn't have messed around in a non-guild raid, the damage done was hopefully minimal.
I am a bit confused about why it didn't complete though...
1) That room is huge so sleetstorm shouldn't cover all of it, right? Cast FWs outside it and move away from that area until it clears or you dispel it with break enchantment. No rangers to buff others with freedom of movement in that group either? It's a great spell. Don't leave home without it.
2) Unfortunately, Otto's Sphere of Dancing does little good in there because the devs have given those air eles high resistance to enchantment. The old standard disco inferno was making it too easy to handle them I guess.
3) No need to call out the bards for poor healing. At least they were willing to try and go with what they had. Area effects adding confusion or not, the servers have been super laggy lately and anything that causes the group to scatter can make keeping everyone up inefficient for even a heal specced cleric or favored soul.
4) I'm assuming you're not WF since with unlimited mana from the static charge, you might have self healed and completed the raid as many arcanes do. Penalty box denizens can then use the rez shrines at the chests afterward and everyone still gets their shot at raid loot.
5) If the puzzle is a problem for you, you can bone up by practicing your Mastermind skills ahead of time. I like to use the trainer here http://globalsoftware-inc.com/harncw...ner%20DDO.html
Happy Adventuring!

"What? Where?" *clunk, thud* :-)
Guildie said he solos it pretty easy on his cleric/monk/rogue.
I understand it's not always the best to solo if you're looking for a certain drop. I figure at 20, though, you're just looking for completions and tomes.

i would ask why:
1) the group didnt move - leaders fault/inexperience leading a raid
2) no one cast break enchantment - bards and rangers slacking
3) why the OP would make thread like this when he didnt finish the raid solo on his caster - weak caster skills by the OP.
the real crime here is not finishing the raid on the OP's part. If you wanna be "funny" atleast back it up with adquate skill playimg the game then you can be as funny as you want and noone will care

Sounds like it was meant for fun, and did not turn out so.
After a brief apology, party should have reformed WITH the caster and just redone.
Sounds like a bit of an overreaction on the party.
Additionally, I prefer clerics over bards for healing purposes.

This is true. But only from level 12 onwards.
So out of 12 people, nobody could kill elementals without firewalls, nobody could break enchant, nobody could heal, ...yeah ok. The wipe was clearly caused by one sleet storm. Heh.
You get lag from these spells, it's time to upgrade away from the 486 and stop griefing casters for using perfectly viable spells.

Devs: Thanks for making Druids available to VIPs without the pack. This more than anything, has made me want to buy the pack.
My 15/3/2 paladin/monk/rogue has done it several times via pure melee.
Why people think they need anything class-wise for this quest is beyond me.
OP, next time people complain about lag tell them to check their connection speed at http://www.imafreakinn00b.com.![]()
His ACTIONS certainly qualify as griefing...even if his INTENTIONS were less intentional.
If you all knew the intentions of the people who you hated, maybe you would like them better....but you probably go by the actions of the person. If not, then how could you dislike noobs or mess with Korthos Army?
AWESOME to have it both ways, Im sure.
If you want to judge others by the seat of your pants, that is all gravy with me.....but dont write 3 posts telling us to do it too. We can judge just fine for ourselves (and every bit as logically and consistently as you, obviously).
