I´ll be having some free time until the weekend and plan on getting a few things done out of Greed and Lack of new Content & Postponed Challenges.

So here´s the plan to achieve by Midnight Friday.

Cursed Crypt Runs: need an opener. Let me know if you can or are interested in max-upgrading your Silverflame or Emerald Claw Trinket to Pendant.

Abbot Raid: 2 Completions, hopefully after some people Max-Upgrade their Trinket as mentioned prior.

Hound of Xoriat: As many completions as possible.

Vision of Destruction: 4+ Completions.

Note: For Abbot and VOD I´ll definitely be selective of those who know what they are up against....so please send a tell as you hit the LFM letting me know you have read this thread for example?

Be on the lookout as Gravis Negotium and friends will be LFM´ng.

Any word on the trinket upgrades? Can I bank the silver flame one then get and upgrade the Emerald Claw? Haven't tried it.

VERY Good Question....

Ideally I´d want to see 2+ groups of people Max-Updating the Trinkets and then Hitting the Abbot.

I have wanted to get a maxed out trinket for a while now. Noone ever runs those missions (for good reason LOL)

2 of my alts have maxed out trinkets ATM, largely so that i could run subterrane and be better prepared for abbot (I love the trinket in the subterrane... you can just hurl yourself at the beholders). Would like to do some practice runs on abbot, however there doesnt seem to be too many people willing/able for those. If you don't get enough experienced people for your Abbot run and will accept a first timer, my alt Leafy would go. Incidently, i have read everything on the forums i can find regarding this raid and have watched the videos of the puzzles on Youtube, so at least i have an idea of what it is all about.

I'm game for all those except I have no one currently ready for Abbot. I do have two characters who have 2 and 3 parts of the pre-raid done respectively, however. Definitely need to upgrade my trinkets, however. I would love to do VoD as I have yet to even attempt it. Count me in for whatever's going on!

Yeah, a fellow guildie and I are planning to run cursed runs although the toon that will be able to open it for me would need to run one of the pre-quests to get on the final quest string. Other than that the VoD and Hound runs sound awesome, but I only have one toon who can do the Abbot. What time were you planning on starting?

Hey Dexx,

Both Tashya and Palol are Abbott ready. We used to spam run it for practice back in the day after it got "fixed". I seem to remember the ice room and the meteor room fairly well. Never got the chance to go into the tile room though. If you need a spare warm body, I'm always game. Sadly, Kulhal is nowhere near being ready. Even if he was, he would just camp out in the Cursed Crypt praying for a Docent of Defiance

I am ready on balto to run abbot and have some experience in there with all the puzzles actually completed the ice one once. Also I would like to up grade his necklace to tier III. Any of the other raids all my 16 level players are set for so anything you want to run I am game.

In order to get the emerald claw, you would either have to complete the abbot and use the alter to do the final upgrade to the silver flame item or destroy the silver flame item in order to acquire then upgrade the emerald claw...you just can't have more than one lvl1-3 emerald claw/silver flame item at a time. If you are lucky enough to finish abbot, you can keep upgrading to final reward using the alter and have multiple lvl4 silver flame/emerald claw items...but always just 1 lvl1-3 item at a time...

I'd be up for Abbot stuff. All of my guys are ready for it. Tried many times. I think I will drop dead the day I actually get into a group that finishes it. I counted the other day. 714 total raid runs with 6 toons -- 0, none, nada, zilch Abbot completions. But, no that level 15 quests isn't broken or more difficult than the level 17 and 18 raids, nope, not at all. We are all just lazy and don't have the heart to put the time in. You know because those that do have like 40-50 completions each post changes. It just takes practice to make this a repeatable quest that anyone that dedicates themselves can do whenever they want. Grrrrr!!!

I will be happy to retract my anger/frustration once I can see the chest (and more importantly the favor) for the quest.

I am going to start putting up LFM's for abbot as i haven't seen anyone else put them up in quite some time... I have the sense that there is a building desire in the player base to take a crack at getting this raid done. Maybe its just because there are so many like me who haven't felt the pain of actually doing the raid yet. Well, according to the dev post linked above the Crabbot is very much doable without exploiting... Guess we just aren't worthy of completion
