Human, 34pt Pure Paladin. Two handed fighting since you already have greatsword:
Base Stats:
18str, 8dex, 14con, 10int, 8wis, 16cha
All level ups into strength.
Skill priority:
Umd > Heal >...
I remember a time when this was possible, it was pretty op, but definitely fun :D
I bought it up in the council. Combat mastery not working with qp is wai. :(
You guys can argue about alignment all you want, I don't give a ****. One way or another I'm making Warenmo Spellfist, an unarmed warlock.
Not much point in pure at all if you're interested in speed and efficiency. I'd recommend utilizing the pastlifenmo template for heroic monk lives.

Ah, yeah I've got a mistake in that listed build:
My actual build was a 16monk/2fighter/2druid. I felt that it was worth giving up one qp DC, to be able to fight in wolf form and get to use stunning...
That's an odd take.
It's been a while since the last time I sat down and worked this out, but here's a good base:
PDK 18monk/2fighter, using shortswords:
Wisdom
Charisma
Quivering Palm
Improved combat mastery does not work with quivering palm.
Quivering Palm Calculation for my build, naked:
10base + (0.5 * 16monk levels) + 15wismod +3 fighter lives.
=10 + 8 + 15 + 3
= 36...
wsdawasaassdwsws is what I normally end up typing. Was still happening to me last time I logged in.
I think the real solution is for people like us to stop chatting so much ;)
The active playstyle that used to be unique to monk was one the main things I liked about the class.
Go outside, take a deep breath, listen. That's the sound of the world continuing to function, there's life outside of Ghalahanda, even for you.
This looks like you copy and pasted a post I made at my guild forums on Friday.
One doesn't necessarily need much intelligence to follow the plan though. That dextrous guy who can hit vital organs and do as he's told is probably a really good assassin.
Really really weak for unarmed monks. Make it add +monk level to melee power for 1min instead.
You've clearly missed the post by Severlin here, where the vorpal is being removed and replaced with a +1 crit multiplier.
Before the enhancment pass there used to be void strike 1-4
void 1 : 1d4 force damage
void 2 : 2d4 force damage & daze on vorpal
void 3 : 4d4 force damage & paralyze on vorpal
void 4 : 8d4...
Could you please add this into the OP too?
It depends on how much grinding you're willing to do. If you're not willing to grind for ingrediant / seal /shard/scroll weapons:
Drow weapons from Rusted blades are pretty good and not tooo...
Will this address the "black screen" issues many of us have been experiencing for a while?
That was u13.1. Good times :D
Yes they did, but it wasn't taken into account for optimizing feats and skills, since we couldn't physicaly eat the tome until after we'd completed our level...
I never knew this.
I could kiss you!
This may be fixed now, but:
+epic level used to only be granted to pure class druids / artificers.
