But if you want to challenge yourself with HC solo, then you should focus on survivability builds. I have barbarian\druid that has Blood Tribute and is going 100%...

If you died, then it's not an easy button. Solo Warlock isn't an easy button at level 4 or 5.

Having 220 hp at level 5 is the easy button. Grouping with other people as a warlock at level 4 or 5...

You refuse to learn anything about the meta.

You probably picked a build that doesn't have great survivability, you were probably running something close to your level, and you ran solo.

Capstone is very nice, but almost everything else is dagger-based. You have throw away like 25-30 of those 41 APs

Use an epic feat to break Adamantine or slot an augment that lets you do it.

I have silver slotted (vampire slayer augment I think), and I started getting the Adamantine feat on most of my melee...

I skipped the following on the way to level 19:

Devil Assault (level 6)
TOEE - Part 2 (level 7)
Twilight Forge (level 11)
The Titan Awakes (level 12)...

Balance was the answer and those belts were the lowest-hanging fruit.

Ask them to check if there is a hold on your account, and ask them to clear it.

For max survivability as a melee, I went Elf (for self-cast displacment), at least 2 levels of barbarian (for Blood Tribute, run speed is nice too), and druid/fighter for Bear form, Nature's...
