I too am highly disappointed in this spell.
It goes in the Flamestrike bin.

There have always been Tiefings in Eberron.
In fact, one of Eberron's big things has always been "If it exists in D&D, it exists in Eberron."
In addition, to address the topic more generally than just Madstone, the proposal includes the reevaluation of high level and boss combat statistics based on the fact that they can now score critical...
Yes, but part of the problem has always been that there are too many people deciding to play different MMOs. ;)
Every MMO needs a relatively steady flow of new stuff. Postponing any new classes...
I really don't have a problem with them prioritizing "easier" classes over "harder" ones.
I'd rather have six new classes in two years and then get Druids two more years after that, than the other...
I'm a bit disappointed he's only about fourteen hundred posts ahead. It shouldn't be too hard to catch up. ;) :p
2-3 seconds probably.
They function like metamagic feats, but are somewhat exclusive. You can only have one "shape" invocation and one "essence" invocation active at any one time.
(Or,...
I always thought Warlocks would be relatively easy to implement in DDO.
Well, when they say "You can come back for free" it's hard to say no.
*coughcough*
Purple Dragon Knights are tied up in the Lore of Forgotten Realms, but it shouldn't be that hard to modify the lore a bit to fit better into Eberron.
I do hope Eladrin picks a slightly different...
I think it doesn't.
I think it was more a case of "I see dev posts, I'll air my grievances."
And while she's a great marketing person, she hasn't shown a very complete grasp of how the rules work. Which is fine, that's not something she needs to know in her position.
But it also means...
And it's insane to think that it'll actually be converted to a full-on 4E game. ;)
(Heck, it's pretty insane to think that it'll even change enough to be billed as a 4E game.)
Eladrin Says:
Which seems to suggest that they're not going to "convert to 4E" wholesale.
So while someone at Gamespy has paraphrased Kate Paiz in saying they are going to convert...
If you look carefully, you'll see that I actually advocated for removing the prereqs. I was simply pointing out to someone else that, as it stands, the only things that count towards meeting those...
Did you try the workaround in the Known Issues?
It's for AoEs, but I don't know if it's the same bug.
That's not something that should be limited to new players... ;)
Given my uncontrollable anger for people who drive like they have their heads ... in places they shouldn't have their heads, maybe I ought to get a license plate that reads:
NOMUPTS
Enhancements don't count. Just base ability, tomes and level-up points.
Though, it's also level 20, so we might have to take the possibility of +5 tomes into account.
Which provides an alternative model to fix this problem on Sorrowdusk Isle.
Add an NPC on the boat that will teleport you to Hragg if you've done his quests before.
You know the only time that this really ****es me off is in the middle of quest chains. Which is really more a complaint about quest chains, and one of the reasons I'm glad they don't make them any...
The Turbine-sponsored paths certainly shouldn't require items (though I'm sure people will put recommended gear on the wiki pages for them).
But if they're just adding a general "builds" section...
That would accomplish the same goal, though I suspect it would be entirely new coding. I don't think we have anything, at present, that has a stacakable duration.
Here's an easy way to tell:
More recent posts are more accurate than older posts.
It's simple really. Monday morning, when you would have been reading the WDAs (only now you're crying into...
