1. I'm not sure, why legendary alchemical crafting is a good time to stop adding new crafting systems. Now in the spirit of being constructive, I would look at what was unique about heroic alchemical...
The sets would have been a nice opportunity to give real alternatives to the sharn sets. Basically every build having their armor slot prefilled by a set you can't really miss out on was a mistake...
Looking at the development over the last years doesn't exactly make me feel like you or the dev team in general is getting the full extent of the problem here. Not only does making some essentially...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but glancing blows didn't used to work while moving. This was also how you would avoid doing AoE damage, when you didn't want to. Having the option to not deal AoE damage is...
Really good to see palemaster get some love.
I was thinking, that being able to toggle the healing through negative energy would be nice. This way you could just fit in with the rest of the group...
That would be the recent ones. I am actually more interested in the older ones.
It's kind of unthinkable these days, but I liked it when players played together, because it was difficult and you had...
How does this compare to other raids in recent and not so recent memory?
A queue system doesn't solve anything. I'm playing warframe atm and I would much rather have the DDO system. The system DDO has used to be great. It's really awesome because it makes you run with...
I just don't think focusing on solo play is very good overall. If I want to play solo there are a ton of games that do solo a lot better than any MMO could ever do.
As far as I understand it, it's...
Warframe is basically a space-ninja-simulator. It is a free to play game. I have been playing it for a few months now and it basically replaced DDO.
I am not going to compare everything, just some...
We have to seperate 2 things here.
One being the DR on enemies like devils, which can be bypassed , and the other being the DR on shroud part 1 portals.
The DR on devils is fine imo. There are...
DC = spell's save DC - creature's Hit Die + caster level.
The DC you see is much higher because the caster level is also added to the spell. Effectively the DC is much lower because it is reduced...
With more than 90 DC you will get good use out of Dire Charge. I don't know what tactical DC items you are using and how things are looking in terms of stats, but there are a lot ways to boost the DC...
It simply depends on what content you want to run. I would expect a DC in the 90s to useful everywhere. It might not be enough to stun everything 95% of the time in some of the new content on le, but...
I assume madden is a football game?
There are reasons why sports games have to approach game balancing different from MMOs and other genres.
Also balancing the game is not about making everything...
I remember having this problem. Can't remember how I fixed it, but I think the options menu helped me with it (DDO has a great options menu).
When you open "key mapping" 3 buttons will appear under...
They actually don't approach the raids from a different perspective. They complete the raids the same way without tanks. The tanks that would be able to survive a hit by sor'jek don't exist in DDO at...
The point is that I can totally understand players who have no difficulty completing the raidyget one-shot by trash mobs in the process and didn't enjoy the experience all that much.
I personally...
I wish I could be like you. Sadly I understand the difference between challenge and mob DPS, so I also understand what the "elitists" don't like about the raids.
I think in shroud part 4 it would make a lot of sense to add a death timer. It would fit the flavor of the heroic version.
For the rest I think one shots + death timers would just be really annoying.
The mechanic has a lot more time shooting his crossbow than the assassin, because the assassin has to get to the enemy and sometimes has to back off which means that he has less time to actually kill...
So mechanics are an "easy-button build" and assassins are in the "A group". To me it looks like "easy-button builds" are usually stronger and better at completing quests than builds in the "A group....
Pacing as in today people just faceroll through everything?
And players being completionists doesn't necessarily mean that they know raids better, especially not hound.
The reason hound is so...
So you can either sneak around and maybe get a mob or two while the rest of the party is killing everything on an assassin or you can be on a mechanic and just help the party kill the mobs a lot...
