Just to compare the two with the following being considered:

seeker 10, no additional crit modifiers like overwhelming crit, tinah gets +4 dmg with set bonus, all flags work except dragon bane...

There is no specific difference between slashing and bludgeoning weapons per se except normally better crit profiles for slashing. Pulverizer changes all this.
