Loot Weekend - QA - Stress

Wonders about Turbines Staff Meetings.

"Well we have worked out a number of lag issues"
"Okay, that sounds great but how will we know they have been fixed and what else needs to be worked on"
"Well if we get a large number of users on the servers we can check out how the infastructure holds up under the stress."
"Sounds great, so how do we get a large number of users on the servers, far more than usual?"
"How about a +1 Loot AND 25% bonus XP Weekend."
"Great"
"If we spread it out over a couple of days we can watch the build up"
"You mean like start on Thursday and go to Monday?"
"Yeah, if the servers have issues Thursday we can hot fix Friday and still be ready for the weekend."
"Well do it man."

So that is how all of you became involved in Turbines new QA team.

the problem with +1 loots is that it doesnt mean anything anymore

+1 used to mean that you can get crazy weapons you normally couldnt get for example in POP normally highest weapons you could get where lvl 12 but during loot weekend you would get the occasional lvl 14 weapon which was super dupper awesome cool (to sell most likely but every now and again it would lead to a vorpal pure good or something equally as cool at the time) but now a days +1 loot means nothing yeah we get more stuff worth more money as in we get 128k weapons when usually we might get 98k weapons but the weapons that are rare and wanted like wounding puncturing or such things dont drop more often so the weapons that people want dont drop more just higher dollar value weapons drop more often.

if the dev's played the game more (which i understand would be hard to do while reading all are posts and dealing with in game issues) they might realize that what we really want is more of the rare item types at higher levels of loot

what are they gonna do with lvl 20 items ?

are they gonna make it that some weapons will have two precursors then the item and the back end (eg. +1 Flame Burst Vorpal kama of Greater Undead bane) if so then that is what +1 loot tables for loot weekend should be promoting ... promote you next update .... if you are doing lvl 18 missions on expert (now lvl 20) on a +1 loot weekend (lvl 21 chests) then we should be pulling some weapons that we cant use yet based on our level cap just like there was before the lvl 16 cap raise when on a loot weekend we could pull lvl 15 items like the first couple wizardry 6 helms and what not.

but we dont see any of that stuff in todays loot weekends so all they are really doing is allowing the plat farmers to lag out our servers.

scrw it all , this iis just pathetc. i have come back after 4 month haitus to this.
this game seems to be going nowhere, with all the lag and logon issues. comeon fix it or tell us the truth that you really dont give a sht about this game.
