I am enjoying it on my ranger. He's 34 dex, 26 str. I like being able to move around with no attack penalty and attacking faster. Often I forget to drink a haste pot. Every quest I've taken him on in Mod 6, this ranger has been top of the kill count. I like it, but your mileage will vary. It's a big feat commitment, that is for sure.
Awesome stuff.
Like the previous poster says, while moving and not getting the -4/-4 is huge, especially on Elite. I notice the 10% increase but I did find some odd stuff in testing a multi-class build (seems slower for some reason than on my ranger... hidden ranger love?). Also, it is less noticeable (probably graphically) with Dwarven Axes and certain blunt weps.
Remember, we also have Tempest II coming. If scaled to 15% and +1 more AC (3 total) then it's a no brainer.
While I haven't taken it, I'm considering a build using it. I can see how in a focused TWF build it would be an awesome addition.
I just wish I could take it AND The Arcane Archer line... there would be no stopping Rangers at that point :D
am i imagining things, or did rangers get an offhand attack on the 5th swing for free already?
Correct. Double 1st and double 4th attacks from GrTWF.
At BAB+15, everyone gets: +0, +0/+0, +5, +10, +10/+10 (7 attacks)
Imp TWF adds another +5: +0, +0/+0, +5/+5, +10, +10/+10 (8 attacks)
Gr TWF adds another +0 and another +10: +0/+0, +0/+0, +5/+5, +10/+10, +10/+10 (10 attacks)
SupTWF should add another +10 at the end: +0/+0, +0/+0, +5/+5, +10/+10, +10/+10/+10 (11 attacks!)
I'll take your word for it that the 10% speed increase works, but it's hard to tell.
The +2 AC doesn't seem to work though. Is that bugged?
As long as you are dual wielding, works fine for me on 2 diff toons.
