Default Virtuoso Pre Song - Étude

Here's a thought... Add a new song exclusive to Virtuoso Bards:

Étude I - Gain 2% XP Bonus for the duration of the song. (Virtuoso I)
Étude II - Gain 5% XP Bonus for the duration of the song. (Virtuoso II)
Étude II - Gain 12% XP Bonus for the duration of the song. (Virtuoso III)

XP Bonus % subject to change. Stacks with Voice, Mantle, and XP Tomes & Pots.

The song applies to all party members within a range, like other Bard songs.

Would people play the Virtuoso now?

Wont happen. you're suggested values are too high, and people might play them while leveling but would switch out at cap. this leaves the same problem of people not wanting to play a Virt.

It would help and not upset the balance if they would just allow outgoing and incoming bonuses to apply to the sustaining song.

Not sure that would be enough, but it would at least make the song a viable option and make it truly useful.

So, you're saying they'll play them. I'll count that as 1 vote: "YES".

Covered that in the OP. "XP Bonus % subject to change". It would have to be meaningful to get someone to use it... but not over powered.

I play one now. I mean now now, even without this proposed XP song, and I really am suprised at how much I am enjoying Virt. Most fun I've had playing a Bard, in fact.

For purely selfish reasons, I'd not say No to this new song, even if I think the values are a tad high.

I've learned to never ask for what I want. But I'd be willing negotiate lower values.
