#6 is a guild airship, well done.

#1 is Multitude of Menace. The lower screenshot was taken at the entrance of the outdoor area with the lift that activates when you kill everything. Took me a good minute to get the camera into that position for longer than a frame or two.

I think I saw something like this in the Temple of Elemental Evil, Part 1 last night. By this point in the quest, our hirelings were dead and we were both on our way to join them, and had a bunch of monsters hot on our heels, so I might be mistaken. And if it is in ToEE1, it's closer to the end of the quest than the beginning.

Sorry, I'm going to have to leave that up to someone else... :( As I said, we were being chased down and our cleric hirelings were dead. We were just sort of moving. We were trying to get all optionals, so we were very close to the 4-hour mark before we were wiped. I remember somewhat late in the quest seeing these, but I don't recall exactly where.

If I were pressured to guess, I'd say in the room when you enter the 3rd floor, but before you open the four elemental gates to Falrinth's lair. But my confidence in that guess is somewhere around 40%. The one with the shrines.

I can't tell exactly where this is...but it is a visual glitch when the scenery ahead blacks out (or in this case, yellows out). I get a glitch like this at the bottom of the stairs on the right side of the bridge in the market that lead up to the area just before the harbor gate.

I'm guessing this is a similar glitch somewhere in VON5.

It's a camera glitch that happens in cases where you can manipulate the camera to be partially obscured by scenery/walls/etc... What exactly happens I have no clue. But it can happen anywhere (and coincidentally, is responsible for the majority of the camera screw pictures I've posted).

Good guess, could be a head shop or little museum in Stormreach, this is not clarified in game. I would like to see an update where you would need to pay 5 gold to enter the room considering it's museum-like-ness.

Thank you, thank you. It's been about a month since I posted in the thread as I went back home for the holidays and didn't have all my screenshots with me.
For some reason my PC has been security locking my screenshots after like 10 days or so for some reason. I just figured out how to unlock them and have been able to access a bunch of goodies on file and found this one.


My guess is Come Out and Slay, in the room off to the side of the courtyard where Benny the Hand and the dogs are.

I found that one outside the Necropolis. I haven't been in the Necropolis for a while, or I would have included that in the original post. Sorry about that.
Makes me wonder how far the Abbot's influence reached, or if it is a symbol older than the Abbot. (Or just artwork re-use by the devs.)

My two cents, it could be a top down view of a dragon, with the head at the top, the crescent swirls to either side as the legs, and the ^ portion representing the wings. Or it could be a face reminiscent of something from a Lovecraft novel. Either way, it is NOT a sign encouraging you to stop and have a picnic.

Indeed it is. The sky is modified due to how moving from the Harbor during the Ice Festival to an airship causes an override of normal sky textures in your next location.

Something like this sounds very interesting, just the NPCs name would be too easy, but things they say sounds kind of tough. I was surprised yesterday when running the Sharn chain that when the NPC names came up I pretty well knew where each of them were. If you think about it, NPCs are kind of lonely just standing around on their own sometimes. I'm sure they would like a little more attention. Another idea is just an image of the NPC with all surroundings blacked out. This might be good for a completely different thread though?

This looks like Lord of Blades - the ceiling perhaps?


Something like this sounds very interesting, just the NPCs name would be too easy, but things they say sounds kind of tough. I was surprised yesterday when running the Sharn chain that when the NPC names came up I pretty well knew where each of them were. If you think about it, NPCs are kind of lonely just standing around on their own sometimes. I'm sure they would like a little more attention. Another idea is just an image of the NPC with all surroundings blacked out. This might be good for a completely different thread though?

Yes, that's correct! The blockade is supposed to be of Stormreach harbor so seeing it off in the distance makes sense. It's a unique angle of it too.

That was another possibility. There are different ways of reading that hint, depending oh whether the two "places" are both quest or not.

Those look like Spirit Binders in #4 but I do not recognize them. The fire looks like a firewall spell, so assuming only the stalactites are native to the location, it could be in an icy quest like What Goes Up or A Break in the Ice.

The first room in Info is Key, looking back along the wall where you have to break the boxes to get to lever. I don't have glowing eyes, but the mirror isn't showing my Ioun Stone either.

It's a little hard to tell on my screen, but it looks like those symbols are a wizard trainer on the left, and a sorcerer trainer on the right. Beyond that, I have no clue where that is. Yes it is. Each class trainer zone has special effects. At the rogue, there are lots inactive of traps; the arcane casters have fire and ice effects, and there's also a chapel (which has the paladin and/or cleric/fvs trainer). I believe the fighter has a number of inactive training dummies.
