Deadly items stack with inspire courage?

As the title asks. I have been told in game numerous times that they do not stack.

Inspire courage is a morale bonus and deadly is a competence bonus so they should stack.

To test you can take Fatesinger, if epic, to be granted inspire courage. I would verify for you but I am currently outside the country where my DDO computer resides.

Your sources are wrong.

They are different kind of boni, morale and competence --> they stack.

Luckily, Deadly items don't stack with Warmaster enhancement.

Because that would cause power creep, which we know Turbine does its best to avoid, especially with a class as over powered as the Bard (throw those monks a bone!).
