The Oncoming Darkness tier 6 ability needs a few tweaks:

Please dont reset charges after dieing or entering new parts of the same quest(via portals or doors, like the portals in the shroud, or portals in citw)

Please add an enhanced visual effect to the user's body/weapons. (The splinters of darkness flying from each attack is really cool, but its hard to see when its stopped when swarmed by mobs and swinging like a mad man)

Please also let kills performed by [executioner's strike/shadow manipulation/consume/shadow lance] to count towards dark imbuement charges.

its really awesome, thank you.

2d6 damage and a parlor trick that allows you to melee attack from a small distance isn't awesome in my opinion. It should just be scrapped for another cool ability, or the damage should be greatly increased. I think it should just be replaced with a stealthy ability.

I had a crazy idea yesterday; a "shadow clone" ability. As long as you are not in combat, you can activate it. Your character becomes invulnerable (but immobile and can take no actions), but you gain control of a "summon" that can walk around and perform actions (like opening doors), but can't attack. It has 300 HP or so and can't be healed. Mobs will aggro on it, and once it's killed the mobs become inactive again/won't target you, and you gain control of your character again. Useable three times per rest or something, and/or maybe it permanently lowers your CON until shrine.

I think it would be a fun ability that would really help stealth play. Probably never going to happen, but still.

i just did some more testing on it, and now realize it sucks.
