I have seen, on the account page outside of the game, an option for transfering characters from one server to the next. It can be done just costs money.

As others, I'm surprised that any server would not be looking for healers.

In the years I've been in DDO, I can never remember a time where people begged to play their healers, in fact it's usually the last spot to fill.

It's not as bad with the FvS now, as a number of people enjoy playing them.

Perhaps you should be looking into finding out which server is more populated, thus increasing your chances even further for getting on teams.

Thelanis is very populated and I would be surprised if you would have difficulty finding teams on a healer, but if you are, form your own team and watch a crazy amount of melees find your LFM in record time.

Now anyone not part of your clique DARES to look for a server where one 'might' find people who don't act like like complete jerks to anyone asking anything they deem 'stupid' is in for nothing but crappy comments by people with little to no manners or caring about anyone but themselves. Asking people to act nice is some crime in DDO now, ask for a decent server and nice people you might as well ask for a loaded gun to be pointed at your head. You'd all rather make crappy snide childish comments.
No we'd love another healer here, or any kind of positive reaction, just the usual garbage one has come to expect from 'human' nature. Enjoy acting like arses to people. It becomes you....really...after all....kindness? It is a word that has disappeared from peoples minds and all you can focus on is your level 20 and your oh so uber items.You sound like you all belong in WoW, judging people for their lack of 'epic' gear and looking down your noses. Why don't you head back there and let DDO become the ONCE nice helpful community it was?

But until I've played with you, I won't comment as to what you're able to do. Every server needs good divine casters. No server needs another touchy player that can't take a bit of fun. What kind are you Mehdik?

1. This may not pertain to the OP, but when mod9 went live, you were unable to do a character transfer involving Cannith. Dunno about the newest server (Orien?)
2. Healers seem to always be in short supply.
3. We are, more often than not, a jovial lot that call it like we see it, and we generally don't coddle our people. However, the majority of us are interested in helping people genuinely interested in bettering themselves to achieve optimal results. If you are so sensitive that you believe Thelanis is populated by butt-nuggets and elitist jerks because of one semi-negative post prior to your diatribe, maybe you would be happier elsewhere.

no, i don't need a healer. move along. nothing to see here.

so you want a server where ppl build a shrine for you because you are a healer? grow up, really. this is mainly a no-role game. meaning if all you can do is heal, most players won't need you and won't let you pike along (and you better avoid those groups that are looking exactly for that).

there is a need for primary healers in some raids and late endgame content however. still, if you can't contribute anything more you most likely won't find friends there either.

Ahh see, I play on Orion, so I must have seen that somewhere and thought/remembered it as for all servers.

At any rate, Im glad as he wont be coming to my server any day soon. I got healing down and dont like people hedging in on my market (=P) but really in all honesty, we could do without sensitivities and attitude problems.

I was on Thelanis over the weekend, in fact - getting some just-made alts some of the bonus XP. And, just some more food for thought Mr. Healer Guy... I'm one of the nice ones. :D

So, if that ruffles your delicate feathers - please make that a factor in your server-selection process. Oh, and don't forget to notify whatever server you decide to grant the Grand-Prize-Of-You award. I'm sure they'll want to strike up a parade in your honor. Finally! A healer will be playing there!
