Question about vale of twilight quests...

While doing slayer for Vale of Twilight, I recently came across the 5 quests at the vale of twilight. All of them said that they were 'very long', and when I asked one player, they said they take up to 5 hours each to finish.

Is this true? I never thought that these quests would take up to 5 hours to finish...or is Turbine and the players giving more BS'ing on the quest lengths? I would hate to have baught this only to realize that the quests take 5 hours each to do...I could understand the raid, 'maybe', since its the most popular, but otherwise, I would feel that it wouldn't be worth my TP...

A few of the quests will take a bit if nobody knows what to do, but if it takes 5 hours you should recall and come back in a few levels. Prolly an hour is a good estimate for a few of em, less for others. Course it depends on your group :)

The raid doesnt take 5 hours either. It can be done in 30 minutes with a decent group, most pugs take around 45 min or a little longer.

Running with the Devils, the shortest one, can be done is 15 minutes or less. Coalescence Chamber, the longest run, takes about 30 minutes. For a first time, coal can take over an hour, but the rest will take 30-40 minutes.

Also, quest lengths mean nothing for how long they actually take.

They are not much different from many other quests.

if you do not know the quest, and/or are underpowered in some way, it can take forever.

But if you are up to it, and with an experianced group, none of them take very long.

And some people can zerge them real fast.
