I was able to send him a PM recently...
His most recent post was 12/30/2008...

I was looking back through his posts and realized that he has had those 2 tomes up for trade/sale on several threads for at least 4 months. After seeing the interested responses on this thread I'm wondering how that could be possible? (I suppose it's possible he keeps acquiring the same 2 types while adventuring)

was started in mid December to which I promptly answered. I posted on this thread because I realized after further research that the OP has posted his offer of those tomes over the last 4 months on different threads and didn't want anyone else to get taken in, if that's what actually happened. I was pointing out how people in this thread amongst others are interested in trading for those tomes and how unlikely it seems that the tomes would last 4 months without being sold/traded.

LOL, ok. I'm glad it wasn't what it obviously appeared to be :) Looks like I'll have to come out of retirement at least for a day.
