Dearest Gelatinous Cube,

I just wanted to bring to your attention that you just closed this thread:

http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=148811

For the reason being.

I believe we were already warned in here once about the inter-server smack talk. Knock it off.

When in fact the warning you are eluding to infact came from this post:

http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=148962

With this notice of warning.

Careful with the friendly smack talk people, keep it in the rules. Think of the children, the children!

I realize that there is a lot to oversee today with so many visitors to your realm and you must be very hungry. But please be more careful in your eating habbits.

Sincerely,

Those that don't taste good.

Seems to me the smack talk was going to be inevitable w/ the competition they started.

I haven't seen anything all that bad....I think they should relax the smack talk rules during this period..

Agreed. Someone even called out my mother, and I don't mind! All in good fun I say.

(I've seen PLENTY worse go on and not get stuffed! :) )

It's like the refs in a game calling every penalty at the beginning just to remind the players who is in charge. It keeps the game under control.

Each Server Forum should of gotten one "Smack Talk" Thread..... Ya wanna Talk smack? Fine, Do it in the designated thread... We could of had just as much fun that way. I really dont see the point of having dozens of threads on whos gonna be first and who sucks more..... THe original Dev thread is fun.... A couple after that were fun... But as more and ore continued to pop up it got old real quick.

I think the biggest issue here was the downtime coming IN THE MIDDLE of the competition. Downtime breeds forum fodder! :)

Dear Untasty,

We don't mind playful smack talk, it's all in the fun of the race. However, that smack talk still has to be within the forum guidelines, so REAL smack talk and the adult references have gotta go by the way side.
