How exactly is this item used? Can one cleanse a tier two upgrade or only use it on a tier three?
It would be a shame to mess up and waste this item.

I successfully clensed a tier 3 item with a high energy cell and the clensing item in the alter of devestation. I think you can clense any tier of item.

I would suggest upgrading the item you want to keep then cleanse it, however I did have an item that was cleansed and it only had tier one upgrade. I just had to make sure I didn't mess anything up in tier two or three :D

So if you cleanse an item at say tier II and later upgrade it to tier III it remains cleansed? Just want to make sure.
