My upcoming UBER Titan raids as a result of the FUBAR loot system

Okay here's the deal.

I'm going to start the group with 1 person. ME. Who wants the f'ing 7 fingered gloves.

Then the next person who joins, picks what item they want....

Then we go down the list until we have 12 people. Then we go in and do Titan.

The way I see it this should increase your chance at getting the item you want by a factor of 6 - 10 ish.

Lets see.... this will start Sunday at about 9:00 - 9:30 PM I'm guessing.

That is very crude version of the loot system used by Wicked and Legion, which we use for exactly the same reason and with absolutely no drama at all within guild. It dramatically increases the chances that each person gets the single loot item they want and dramatically decreases the chances of picking up items they can't use, which I've seen time and time again in pugs.

I'd always be happy running it with this sort of system.

You weren't nearly this upset over trying to get the chat ring!! Besides, wasn't it your fault that you recalled out before all the loot was accounted for? So I heard :D :D :D

But... there is not 12 or even 6 items that are good in the titan. They are only 4.
Unless you can find someone who is dying to get the visor of concentration or that stupid axe, I dont see how your group is gonna have more then 4 ppl in it.

Not only that, but that chest notoriously does not give any raid loot.

Your best bet is to run it 20 times, and hope to get your items there.

i agree with this method. my guild used to do this in pug raids but also name a tome.....the nice thing is if two people are wanting the same thing they get to roll against each other instead of random people saying they wanted it after it dropped

i totally agree that this is prolly your best bet :(

i think to make DQ, dragon and titan more attractive raids turbine should lower the box to 10 raids, unlike the reaver the titan and dragon preraid takes a bit to get through, granted there are power runners, but its nothing like reaver 15min runs. and as far as DQ and the 3 preraid quests.........ah, comeon, seriously!

Titan is fine.. all they need to do for the Dragon and the Demon Queen is let you stay flagged for the raid. Well, and make the pre-raid a raid approach march to the raid.

I have NEVER seen the Docent drop, in about 15-20 runs. (Not that I want it).

So thats where all my tomes have been going ... 2x20 4x40 2or4x60[cant rember if i just did 40's or 60's on two of my guys] 2x80 and only one tome so far :(

I have to agree here. I run a semi-static group through the titan every three days or so, and honestly folks are looking for 3-4 items tops. Ring, Belt, Gloves and Boots. Thats about it. Honestly I would suggest getting a static group together to use the Wicked/Legion rules and simply run the quest for completion. With luck you will get the loot before that, but hopefully the 20th completion fairy will be kind.

Meh titan is Fun with 4 people and not hard at all :) that beign said good stuff

-Chatterign ring droll for any one even thinking about AC.
-Belt really one of the best belts in the game, onyl reason I dotn say best is Electric haze or a green steal min2 could beat it depending on your set up, (ie cleric with abbot had electric haze rules). but tops for any tank class(pal/rgr/ftr/brb/rog/monk etc).
-7 fingered Gloves drool for any one with UMD
-Docent for any WF i hear the clicky realyl rocks especaly if you get a lot of them :)
-The Axe just got it on my Ranger STR/OSTWF, it works great with a pirce spec sicne it's keen. death nip rocks it BUT is harder to get.
-Tomes +2, not the be all to end all but still a nice item 6 dif ones.
-The concentration Visor has been my sorcs main goggle slot for a long time now it;s very nice though a Tempered greenstell item will replace it so this one falls of the list NOW but it's still agood one to have if your a Sorc because you wotn be doign tempered on your SP item you will want the +umd, a wiz with no umd could do it on first one but imo a sorc will ahve to wait and put it on there hp item once they clense.

That could tecnicaly get you to 12 people but ya i think you would have a hard tiem getitgn over 4-5 people for this method in a pug, unless it;s every one picks the key item ahead and only rolls on that item or something.

songz has already ate a +3 str, and +3cha tome.............so i went with the +3con tome, now if i can get that +3wis tome!

now, in contrast, on therask he ate +3 int, jmar +3wis and uni +3 con (already had a +2 str) and have yet to see anything else on those guys

so i got one toon is that super lucky and all the rest are sucking wind with just the 1 that is needed, cant complain too much though!
