Hey guy's, just wondering if anyones interested.
My son (14 yrs.) is starting a guild on Ghalanda.
He shares an account with me and he's dropping WOW to join DDO full time.
He was wondering if there are other kids from our server that would be interested in joining him?
The guilds name is "Sons of Xoriat".
He would like to keep the ages between 10 to 18.

I personally like the Idea because, I know how harsh adults in this game can be on a kid in the party......but if the party is all kids, there's nothing to worry about.
He has been playing WOW for aproximatley 4yrs, and DDO on and off for 2.
He has extreme patience, so if your kid is new, I'm sure he'll be able to help him out.

If you are interested please PM me.
Thanx.

My daughter (11) would love to join, She is always looking for younger people to game with. Other Adults make her nervous.
And she is a VERY skilled player who is mindful of teamwork and tactics. (taught her myslef) So much so, that the groups she plays with never even know they are playing with a little girl!

The only problem is the server.
She has a fighter lv 7 on Sarlona,
And a Paladin lv 5 on Argonnessen...
I doubt she would move full time to another server without Drow at least, as its her favorite race to play.

I'm not sure if they are still around but once upon a time there was a guild on Thelanis that the Vagabonds put together call the Infamous Sparkin Vagabonds (or something like that) that was all kids and I believe Jecon and his wife sort of kept an eye on it.

Anyone have any more info on it? Haven't heard it mentioned in awhile.

I think Turbine has implemented server transfers as one of their paid services now.

Maybe Turbine might even spring for a few free transfers?:D It is always a nice thing to do... plus we'd get rid o'the rugrats so we can swear, burp and drink to our hedonist delight:D

I say we turn Ghallanda into the kiddie server.

I'll send my son Nick that way (age 14).

They are still around...sort of. My son has, as of late, found other games more appealing. If there comes a day, and I can see it will, that he starts to play more often, I will start a thread about the kids guild starting back up. Until then, with such sporatic play from him and his little brother, it would be best to start something anew.

with a bit of help from dad power-leveling... I am sure you could unlock drow by lvl 6 or 7... that is what... a couple days of playing? I understand tho... I have two accounts... one with 1750 unlocked and one without... Needless to say once the higher levels are unlocked it is hard to start over.

Great idea tho. Hope it succeeds. I am sure that Gallandra folks will be more than happy with the mass migration of all our kids! :D

You can unlock drow at 5, I guess the ghallanda Old Timers' Guild could make a new branch to allow for young people, what is the best way to fit Harry Potter and Spiderman into a guild name?

My son still plays on that server, he is 13 and has been playing for some time. I beleive he is the master of making level 6 characters then deleting them. I asked him to look up your son the other day, not sure if he did.

I believe he has a level 12 Drow ranger that's his highest along with some other mid to low level toons.

I'll remind him about to day.

I have an 11 year old that plays too, however i wouldn't wish him on any guild or pug for that matter. He gets his characters to where they can run Stormcleave and then he fizzles out. It's pretty humorous to let him customize his characters.............

He loves playing, and I've been careful in how I let him play, but that sounds like a great idea.

Unfortunately, he's been grounded from playing for a while, for some out-of-game behaviors. I'll try to remember to mention this to him once he's in our good graces again.

I have had one unlocked at 1... but he didn't have much xp... :)

I said 6 by normal powerleveling/play styles... I know one person who usually has 1500 favor or so by lvl 9 but most people I know don't get over 400 favor until about 6 or 7... I have a 14 clr with 800

as for names... how about Quidditch Webcrawlers? ;)

I asked my son, and he said' "What? And leave Xoriat?!"

To which I replied, "It isn't Xoriat anymore, bubba"

And I got immediately back, "Sure it is, we just spell it differently now!"

So I figure he doesn't wanna swap servers.

Hey, my son is only 9, but he loves the game. In fact, I have been very careful about letting him and it bums him out. He would love to have a group of kids to play with on a regular basis. His main character is on Argo, but he loves rolling new ones (something I let him do unsupervised). I am sure he has several on Ghalanda. Can you PM more information?
