    Default Revenue Idea

    End Game Account @ $x/month

Allows for a no past life option in the reincarnation process, the benefit being you get full xp to max level, if you were max level at reincarnation. Maybe 1 of these a week?

The main perk for me and why I want is...build hoping...I've done them all, like most of them and wanna just randomly switch as mood hits me (or server makeup shifts). Plus I'm a gear/trophy hoarder, so this isn't to hard. I'd still assume I'd need to do a typical reincarnation to reset first time reaper XP or earn a past life.

??? No idea what you mean by this and you don't explain it.

I think what you are asking is lesser hearts of wood +20 to change build completely and go to level cap. It is available in store from time to time so keep an eye out.

On the other hand, if they could sell BTA Racial points (not stacking with racial PL points) most of my toons could use them and not feel like a gimp.

This is a great example of how the feedback culture has changed. It went from "X would be an awesome feature" to "I'd pay money to have X conveniently."

Its not the OPs fault. They know they are playing a game that charges for convenience - even QoL things which are free in most games. These things will continue to come up as topics, and the features which are already monetized will stay that way. Anything suggested which does not already exist in game which eventually gets implemented, will be monetized.

The OPs request would eliminate 95% of the moaning when nerfs happen. When players can just log in and switch their build to the new optimal thing conveniently, this eliminates most reasons to complain about nerfs to the previously optimal thing. When they are stuck with it unless they spend time/money/both to get out of it is when the gnashing of teeth occurs.

This feature exists in the game for 2495DP a pop. Just stock up on a bunch of +20 hearts (with a +5 bundled for free) every time the option comes up in the store.

You can do this after accumulating all the power you want via past lives and be whatever you want to be over and over again for roughly $25 a pop.

This isn’t new players have long posted about what they would pay for

thx for your posts, lots of good thoughts.

as for why +20 hearts are not ideal in this situation, it's b/c I like to change race frequently, plus I do a fair amount of multi-classing. A+20 heart still forces you to stay in three classes or take multiple hearts to take some class out...plus even though there are alignment changes, some classes require alignment. For example going from Monk-3, Ftr-8, Rogue-9 to any mix with barbarian requires a couple hearts, a timer reset, alignment change, and a lot of un-fun time.

and yeah, you could use an otto boxes to do something similar, but that feels to heavy handed and it is purchasing past lives, which is ok to I guess, it's just reliant upon sales timing, takes a large chunk of money at time or purchase, it doesn't take you thorough to cap, so you have to find some odd gear sets that you use for a couple hours...just more un-fun time, is all.

+1 to Chai, I hadn't considered that it'd lessen one of the games pain points...nerfing.

Buddha5440, X is a variable representing some dollar amount...I don't have marketing data here, so it didn't make sense for me to put a price tag on it. Though if you had a figure in mind, it may help to inform the conversation. In other words, some monthly subscription.

+20 hearts let you change the class of every level.
Nothing lets you take more than 3 classes.

Hearts of Blood let you change races.
Otto's boxes will let you get back to level cap with zero work. ( nothing stops you from using 2 heroic boxes each life, etc. )

Everything you want to do is possible now through ddo store purchases. Even if they did put it all into one item, they're not going to make it cheaper than buying all the things separately.

Your feature request was granted before you submitted it.

Note: If anyone is thinking of picking up some otto's boxes, you might wait until Thursday to see if they put up an overlapping sale of double-bonus-points if you're also buying the DDO points.

The problem is you are suggesting something with very niche appeal that would require A LOT of complex programming.

Ideas like that never get picked up. Its not that the idea is good or bad, its that the potential ROI is simply too poor for SSG to even consider.

A better solution would be a heart that lets you reincarnate choosing a new race, all new classes, and still level back to 30. Its a simple enough prospect; game just needs to repeat the reincarnation process and then grant all the XP. This would be miles easier to program than a whole new account type.
If I can read the dev tracker, you can too.

I could get behind that, thanks!
