What is your favorite loot run to generate plat lately?

The "ask a bunch of players on your server" loot run. Seriously, plats are meaningless.

I dont want to generate plat, I have problems getting rid of it.

I could burn it on reaper wings but dey ugly.

I'm curious. Why do you need platinum? I actually look for ways to burn it. Currently, the only thing that chews up platinum for me is my constant tweaking of the build trees. Once I have that settled for a particular build, I have to move platinum to mules to avoid the cap.

If more things could be sold on AH, platinum would have more value. I buy blueshine (ONLY if it has augment slots), various augments, bigbies, and the occasional rare filigree, but the useful among that list rarely even hits the AH. Pretty much anything worthwhile is bound. So, plat just piles up and up and up ...

If you're just after an infusion of plat, then do legendary saltmarsh & white plume mountain runs, a 1k sentient XP gem will be snapped up near immediately even at the full 2mil plat buyout.

Premium player, and I have 4 Guild ships (for mule accounts, from "back in the day"). At standard (absurd) AH prices, I could spend ~50 million plat in a heartbeat on those alone, just to upgrade the ships and get the deeds that I'd want. <shrug>

And I don't live at end-game, often doing Racial Reincarnations atm, and don't do the focused TR train zerg, so not getting the heavy plat flow that some do.

I still do from time to time, mace of smiting and sunblade still hold up very well.

Incorrect.

My experience is that 99% of the time those items end up on the shard exchange instead. I do occasionally fine a useful item for plat, but they are far and few inbetween...outside of HC league.

I always farmed Delara's pt 2 underwater optional or Threnal for sunblade.
