Lack of information indeed does not bode well. There is a non zero chance they will delay it to give people a chance to do the raid for a week first. If the raid is fixed the next patch.

I'll try to join, if you have room for a somewhat newby (Basically; I need to re-learn the game, but I have almost every race/class unlocked from pervious plays throughout the years.)

Edit: I should ask, being new to the HC thing; do I play through Korthos before asking to join?
Or do I run the intro, step on Korthos, and ask is anyone from Death Smile is around?

Is there a Discord to make communication easier? I recall DDO's VoIP is pretty wonky...

Hi. HC6 should be a madhouse on the first day. Population will be vastly greater than other servers, all starting at level 1. PUGS will be everywhere, even snowy side of Korthos will be full.
To join any guild, your best bet is to directly contact any DS officer you can find and ask to join. DS guild probably will fill within, err....., I don't know actually. Fast, like a day or so. But there are several other big guilds that you can join and smaller ones will pop up too. Just ask and if you join a guild that you don't like, drop and join another.

Note that if you die and you are in DS, that character will be booted out of Death Smile (due to limited max # guild members). And all guilds start from scratch so buffs take a bit to build up.
