It is usually switched on Thursday evening (EST), so not at the time of announcement. "Weekend" is the important keyword here

But what I can say about it: I'M HAVING BEST OF DDO EXPERIENCE RIGHT NOW, number of LFM's this bonus brings in is tremendous.

Please consider making this bonus permanent (just work out the numbers for non-vips and vips: 1%, 2%, 3%, 5%? 1% for vips-only was a good start)

I agree. Every time this bonus comes back, it revitalizes grouping. While it wouldn't consistently bump numbers the same way if it were permanent, it would definitely be good in general to have even a lesser bonus permanently active.
