Question Related to Cleric Radiant Servant Enhancements

The tier 4 Cleric Radiant Servant Incredible Healing enhancement reads: the maximum caster level of your Positive Energy spells are increased by 1. The increase is an additional 1 per progression up to 3. The tier 5 enhancement above, Cure Focus, indicates your Cure Wounds spells have no maximum caster level. This looks as if I could place just 1 action point in Incredible Healing just to unlock the enhancement above and later purchase Cure Focus; making any points placed in Incredible Healing a waste other than for unlocking Cure Focus.
Am I understanding this correctly?

Well, sort of. The +3 to positive spells would also apply to heal/mass heal, where the other one only applies to cure __ wounds.

The +3 MCL applies to all positive healing spells including heal, panacea, and divine wrath. Not sure if the T5 applies to close wounds or not, but it's up to you if you think it'll be helpful or not.
