Charisma based, Dagger + buckler or nothing in offhand
Max Charisma, 13 DEX for Precision (Dex Tome helps), rest into CON, maybe int if you need trapping skills

6 Bard (Swashbuckler T5), 12 FvS (CHA to hit/damage, extra hp, Divine Might, Heal), 2 Rogue (evasion)

Deity: Blood of Vol. Granted feats will net +6 to-hit / +5 damage

80-81 AP: 35-36 Swashbuckler for T5, 41 Vistani for Capstone and good stuff (40mp, 10+20 doublestrike), 4 Warsoul (DM)
Racial AP: Whatever


With current gear we can hit 83% sustained doublestrike w/o Shield Mastery (gear: 23+11ins+5qual+15set, 9epl, 5 feat, 10 vistani, 3 filigree (Shattered Device))
Ont top of that we can have +17% from Shield Mastery feats and twist (US T2 LSM). This is 100% unbuffed doublestrike
With empty hand we get +25% damage from stat (CHA) and Swashbuckler T3 (Dashing Scoundrel) gives 6 damage and 10% doublestrike
With 6% doublestrike twist (GMoF T2 instead of LSM) we hit 99% unbuffed doublestrike, 100% with 34% ds item (raid necklace)

Feats:
SWF, ISWF, GSWF, Precision, IC:Piercing, Overwhelming Critical
For Buckler (28 PRR, 17% doublestrike): Shield Mastery, ISM, GSM, Twist Legendary Shield Mastery from Sentinel
For empty hand (+25% cha mod to damage, +6 damage from SB): Offhand Versatility

Optional: Completionist, Dodge/Mobility/Spring Attack, Toughness/Epic Toughness, Empover Healing Spell

Destiny: Fatesinger. Grab as much CHA as you like, Martial Hymn, 1st Harmonic Chord, good stuff from T5-T6 (don't forget free extend and quicken).

Weapon: Pain, the half of Whole

Trinket: Legendary Battleworn Medal (5% quality doublestrike, 5 quality CHA)
Armor, Gloves, Necklace: Sharn Family Set
Minor Artifact: Brightlord (if you have raid necklace) or Stolen Signet of Ir'Wynarn
other gear - whatever good stuff from Sharn/Gatekeepers/Feywild you happen to have

I love the concept of this build. I m currently running something kind of similar, but focusing mainly on healing then dps instead of dps then healing (its a 17 fvs 3 brd vistani).

I'm curious as to why you chose SWF over TWF. I understand that shields give a lot of defense, especially with the proper feats, and the bard tree gives some nice boosts when having an empty offhand or a shield, but is this 'better' (i.e. more dps) than TWF with TWO daggers? Just curious.

Depending on where the math stands I might swp to SWF too but I'm tempted to keep TWF.

Also, fan of knives may be useful in the lower levels and possibly at endgame for making mobs helpless, unless you have that taken care of.

Because it's a Swashbuckler. If you're switching to TWF, you might as well use ranger as your secondary class so you can add tier-5 Tempest instead.

Ahh yes, noobie mistake on my part (had to LR my FVS swashie).

I am somewhat new to the game but not to DnD concepts (love the PnP, I DM semiregularly).


Could you give me your opinion or suggestions on the following build?


4th life, 24 reaper points.
Focuses: HEALING, secondary dps, some buffs (not much).
Proposed split/enhancements: 17 FVS for wings (can be helpful, I found so), 3 BRD for Swashbuckling and Skirmisher (T3). I take T5 Beacon of Hope for the Heal SLA, Flame, and Undying Beacon. I do not take the Hope for Prot./Vict./Succ. for levelling or questing in low reaper, but for raids I respec into them (I don't try to dps and just heal/buff).

The main reason for not including more BRD or another class is for caster levels. I found that 14 fvs (for 6 of another class) and especially 12 fvs (for 6 and 2 of other classes) decreased the potency of my heals in mid level reaper.

Specific Enhancements (questing, not raiding):
34 - Beacon of Hope (all the healing stats)
23 - Vistani Knife Fighter (I unspec a lot of these points for raiding, mostly dps for smaller groups/solo)
12 - Warsoul (Divine Might, PRR/HP, + to hit and dmg)
11 - Swashbuckler (Swashbuckling and Skirmisher)


Feel free to leave the gearing out of this build if you want - I dislike the gear tetris in DDO right now and am waiting to see what U50 and U51 brings us.

All suggestions are welcome, although healing being priority #1 and dps being #2 is needed. (I enjoy crit'ing a heal for 7-8k on a reaper/raid tank, I imagine their B.P. halves lol).

My one question is: is BRD the 'best'/doable for secondary dps in this split, or should I look to other classes?
