    Level 30 (Epic)

Feat: (Legendary) Scion of the Astral Plane
NOTE: I use a +8 ability tome for each so depending on your character you will need to readjust the starting stats to ensure that you can pick up the feats at the required level. You will need 15str for THF and 17 str for ITHF /GTHF. 13 dex for precision. Classes are taken in this order for most optimal feat selection process

    Class split breakdown

10 FVS = You need 10 FVS for the "knowledge of battle" which allows WIS to hit and dmg with your favored weapon (Qstaff with Aureon diety). Yes you can go Falconry but saving 12AP there means i can spend it on other things like Jade strike

6 Monk = T5 access, Ocean stance, 3 monk martial feats (Precision, THF, Deflect Arrows)

4 Rogue = Uncanny dodge feat, 2nd core Thief acrobat for free "Swords to Plowshare" feat, 15% attack speed and +20% strikethrough

    Enhancements breakdown

NOTES: This is using a 86 AP with 1 Universal Tome, 2 Racial Tome and 3 from Racial Past Life AP. However 80AP is enough to cover the essentials, if you are using a 80AP i would suggest dropping 13AP from Thief Acrobat to 9AP (just needs haste boost, 2nd core and the 15% Attack speed) and then drop 2 AP from Aasimar 20Hamp

    Epic Destiny Breakdown

NOTES: I have 1 point left and when eventually the ED point tome comes out it will be 2 total and i will use that for "Gird against demons" to give my weapon cold iron. Primal scream + Acute Instincts gives you +2 wisdom while the Martial Hymm gives you 1 more. I dont really use Unbridled Fury because i only really use adrenaline with jade strike or boulders might and usually 7 is enough as i regen charges quite often

    Crowd Control

With this build you have 3 main sources of CC

    1. "Greater Color Spray" = AOE CC, this is your main CC tool as it effects practically almost all enemies. Will save and no SR checks and has 3 independent save rolls. Tested it on r10 and its pretty much 100% working with a illusion DC of around 95

    2. "Dire Charge" = AOE CC, similar to your color spray but not quite as good since some mobs are immune such as reapers and is a fort save. However use this as a chain CC to keep packs of mobs under control. With FVS "Divine Will" the DC was 130 which is a safe number for higher reaper content

    3. + = 100% proc chance Jade strike (you need to use a fury as it will give your jade strike 100% crit and hence proc the tomb effect) which works on almost all enemies and are CC for 30 seconds. Great for high priority targets like vengeance reapers

    Healing

    1. "Aasimar healing hands" = Big burst heals, use this as a backup emergency heal for when you really need it, also helpful for healing allies that are not in line of sight for example behind walls etc

    2. "Shadows cannot exist without light" = This is your main aoe heal, strikethrough and doublestrike effect it and will proc more. Hence the more mobs = the more heals. Great for keeping party members healed up while still focusing on DPS.

    3. "Cure serious wounds" = This is going to be your heal for situations where neither of the other 2 are appropriate

    Instakills

"Mass frog" = Use this on low fort things such as skeletons, even without massive investments into Transmutation DC it will work well

"Dismissing strike" = Use this on extraplanar mobs such as elementals, mephits, evil outsiders etc. Remember that divine will boosts the DC of this.

    Defences

Sitting on 195AC 200prr 50mrr in reaper with 45% dodge chance in ocean stance (this is really the only stance you should be in). Saves are 85+. You also have 3 sources of dodge boosts; uncanny dodge, meld and hood of unrest). I also personally use City beacon filigree set to give me displacement, procs very often and i find it helpful for boss fights.

    Boss Debuffs

= 10% increased physical damage and -25% Fortification

= 4% reduced damage, stacks up to 5 times, 3 second cooldown 30 second duration. Get this debuff on raid bosses etc asap

Add in 4 piece "Shattered Device" and thats -10prr -10mrr

    Monk finishing moves utility

+ + + = 25% SP reduction for 1min. Nice for pre raid buff casting

+ + + = Nearby allies become immune to daze, stun, and sleep for 60 seconds. Not sure if it works for THTH boss headbutt but if it does then thats really nice

    Gear setup

Well thats all i could think of for now to type, hopefully this guide helps out for people that want to give it a go

EDIT1: im currently testing out an alternative AP split where i drop TA to 4AP and go 11AP into ninja spy for +25% incorp and 3% max dodge. Prob will be overall better however it means that i need to do a t3 twist for haste boost

    Thank you for sharing!

Playing 20 Monk Henshin Mystic right now and was struggling finding another build without too much investment!

Just a question : why spear of the mournland instead of Sireth? When I do the damage breakdown, Sireth can't never be beaten!!!

Also : did you try spamming elementals words attacks (left line of HM)? I found the stacks of vulnerability very efficient!

This is why partly why im using the new Quarterstaff because it gives fetters of unreality which is 20% vulnerability pretty much instantly. Compared to spamming elemental words constantly and building up stacks. Also you need a lot lot lot of melee power and damage boosts for sireth to take over mournlands as the base damage is way lower 3[1d10] +7 (with upgraded version) = 25.63 vs 7[1d6] +15 = 89.65. It is nice weapon still as it should be 13-20 x3 crit range and does slashing/piercing but not bludgeoning.

If i didnt have mournlands, then sireth/elemental bloom/moonbeam would be my choices

I am curious. Can you show me your math?
And this might be of interest to you.

So, how's the change for this build with the fix to Greater Color Spray? I just wanted to try it out, but it seems that it is useless now

    Am I missing something?

How are you using Bloodrage Chrism and a monk stance?

Bloodrage uncenters you, which means you cannot use stances, right?

    Default just came back again

i took a long break and just came back to ddo, im not sure what they changed with color spray since ive been gone, but for me its still working the same as when i left. As for bloodrage chrism it doesnt uncenter me, although the wording of it seems to indicate so
