Endgame Farming

I started farming out some endgame items for my Aasimar Scourge Ranger yesterday. It occurred to me that it may be better to farm for different item sets at the same time so i dont ransack the quests.

Ive farmed one Beacon of Night Heavy Mace so far for my first Sentient Weapon from Night Falls on Stormreach quest. Beacon of Day has illuded me so far and the end chest is starting to get really light very close to being ransacked in The Age of Rage quest. I rerolled the end chest three times but Im not sure if that contrubutes to ransack or not. So im also going to try to get Hellstroke Heavy Mace from Killing Time and The Everstorm, Maelstrom Courser Heavy Mace from Too Hot to Handle. I will be looking for other weapons as well.

So i was wondering how many times should i run the quests daily to avoid ransack?

chest ransack kicks in at the 9th time you open the chest in a 7 days span. it starts counting the 1st time you open the chest and after 7 days it resets. you can, like, loot 8 times at once and then wait a week, or try 8 times on 7 days, 1 daily run +1 additional run one day.

Rerolling does not contribute to chest ransack.

I have run Blown Deadline and House of Pain looking for two items (legendary part of the family) to ransack for the past year (250-275 runs) with groups, solo, normal to elite!

It's a seemingly long wait (feels like eternity) for the chest to reset once you hit ransack and you forgot to keep track of when you started the streak... lol.

Its been a nice change of pace treasure hunting for items.

Im going to run the different quests eight times over the week and reroll the chests since i find myself with a lot of shards atm
