Love it, grabbed it as soon as the notice popped up in my inbox. According to the mail I received post-purchase, there is no code to submit it just automatically applies.

My query is thus: How can I buy a copy of it for a friend? Missed his birthday this year and was thinking it's time he finally gets the Everything(tm) pre-launch pack of an expansion for a change.

I ended up creating a Daybreak account, and I'm still unable to purchase the expansion pack.

So I know pre-purchasing has its own benefits, is the enhancement tree actually part of them? I've been chomping at the bit to get my hands on Feydark Illusionist, I'm wondering if I'll actually unlock it now or if I'll have to wait until the expansion releases to get it. I would rather pay the $80 now and get the other benefits than have to wait for it to come out on its own in a couple months after the expansion actually releases. Anyone who's already preordered able to offer an answer to my question?

I didn't miss any birthdays but still want to know ... for science.

And will the new enhancement tree be available for favor?

I did hope for a separate pack for all the cosmetics like WPM and Borderlands. That didn't work out beneficially apparently. Why is it not possible to make a convenience pack and a cosmetic pack? You'll only get the small money from me again.

But nevertheless congrats to publishing this expansion. Thanks for all the work.

Access to the Feydark Illusionist tree is indeed available in this current patch, right now! :)

It is slightly creepy, when I click the Feydark enhancement tree in game to unlock, DDO store window opens up on the promo page, I click on buy now, enter my user creds. then get redirected to daybreak, then get another redirect to daybreak promoting Everquest and other games... still in the store window.

What's up with the Daybreak Games bit? I enter DDO credentials and get redirected to another publisher who doesn't list DDO or LOTR as one of their games? And no, my DDO creds don't work on that site. Is this release actually legit? Haven't had to do this with any prior expansion pack pre-purchase, and not liking it for this one.

You get access to some of the items right away. That’s mostly important if you have (well, had) Racial Completionist and want to get it back.
