    Question Need Build Advice

I haven't played in a long while and forgot just about everything and input on this build would be appreciated.

Also I did not use Artificer (I also do not have monk.) because I do not have it.

The main point of the build is to make a strong inquisitive build that can also do traps.

(Falconry looked fun so i added it if there is a way to keep it without hurting myself too much I want it to stay.)

I used Drow because I don't have alot of races but any better race input is appreciated.

Any Epic Destiny and Twist of fate info would be nice to know as well. Thank you

    Random points
    -drow is ok
-falconry requires wisdom to be effective. Probably a bad idea to get it with your build.
-you need int to damage, either from Harper or mechanic
-you can go down to 13 dex
-41 AP in inquisitive for tier 5 and capstone is a good idea.
-do you need the fighter feats? Ranger would give you csw and fom

    - if I go down on dex what should I put the point into instead? Would it mess with any of the feats?
    - I do have the int to damage from harper in the build
    - Can you give examples of why I should get the inquisitive capstone over another? t5 feels less useful without artificer and diplomacy
    - I need point blank and rapid reload thats why I took fighter
    - Wouldn't falconry work as long as I have the int to dmg? (I didn't take Killer Instinct)

    Inquisitive benefits:

    High Cores
lvl 18 and lvl 20 cores give 20 ranged power, 7d8 extra damage (scaling with ranged power), +2 to all stats, +3 saves, +4 max dex, slippery mind, automatic trip on vorpals

    Tier 5
No Holds Barred is an action boost that greatly increases your rate of fire. Does not require Artificer
Improved Uncanny Dodge is powerful defensive ability when sh*t hits the fan.
Inquisitor's Path is +10 ranged power, +30% stacking attack speed, +1d8 extra damage
Diplomatic Immunity is important, not for the diplomacy effect, but for Observation/Improved Observation (+25% fortification bypass). Does not require Diplomacy skill.

    Other stuff:
You can put spare ability points into Int or Con

Falconry is an interesting and flavorful tree. There are indeed inquisitive builds that can benefit from Falconry, builds that rely on Wisdom as their primary stat. For example, Aasimar race (with powerful healing SLA depending on Wisdom score) + Divine class (with spellcasting that depends on Wisdom) can benefit from the special attacks in the Falconry tree (that also reward having high Wisdom) while using Wisdom to hit and damage, as well as Deadly Instinct for extra damage.
In your case, enemies are likely to resist the fun bird attacks from the Falconry tree.

@Harper: In the build, I see you taking Int to hit, but not Int to damage.

Ah ok I see. Also I seem to forgot that I needed the other enhancement too from the harper tree. Any other insight would be welcomed

Is this a heroic-only build? If so, you can get away with lower base DEX and rely on ranger to provide Improved Precise Shot while Harper provides INT to hit and damage. This would also let you use a different class like human or gnome. If it's meant for epics, then your DEX is too low for Combat Archery feat.

Not sure what the fighter levels are for. You don't go heavy into Kensei or Stalwart and you don't really need feats like Shot on the Run.

If you don't have Artificer then this is just about the only time it's worth considering a bard splash for Swashbuckling + Dashing Inquisition which gives you +10% Doubleshot when combined with Dashing Scoundrel. However it only works with light crossbows so check to be sure your planned gear is compatible. Fortunately this includes the all-mighty Ratcatcher so that's fine.

    - Ah what amount of dex do I need for combat archery?

    - I was straight winging it on feats and epics the more I know the better lol. I can totally throw out Shot on the Run for anything better if it helps.
What should I throw out and make room for or switch around (where can i fit bard in) ? I mostly just took the fighter feats to get point blank and rapid reload.
I am also completely oblivious about epics. Thanks
