Got booted off starter airship with no gear

So I started a new character, picked up a few things for her- went through the rigamarole of making her, setting up her stats, and then got to the airship and leveled up to Lv. 4.

Then I went off and picked up some stuff from the DDO store- bags, a quiver, a stat tome, storage bags, everything she might need for her future as a GXB rogue. I notice the NPC who gives experience is still sitting there with a check above her head, but now she's telling me there may have been an error, do I want to go teleport to the Stormreach Marketplace? I say yeah, sure, and I end up in the Marketplace at Falconer's Spire.

That's when it hits me- the game never gave me my starter kit or starter weapon! Just... dropped me in my starter rags into the Marketplace at Stormreach without so much as a tree branch to defend myself with or to fight with.

I mean, I dropped for the anniversary package for this character- the one with the +8 supreme tome- and I want to adventure, but I can't just go punch everything to death. Maybe I could get a GM to see where my luggage got lost in transit?

I've also run into this issue as well. I'm on the airship and when I talk to lady on the ship she tells me there has been an error and she can only transport me to the marketplace or contact customer support.

Unfortunately, before I talked to her I used a Greater Tome of Learning on the character. So I can't delete it without losing my Greater Tome of Learning. I opened up a support ticket in game, but I haven't gotten a response to my ticket yet.

In order to get a response to the ticket do you have to be logged in? Should I leave the game open until I get a response?

Well I managed to solve the issue on my own.

I just used the platinum from the daily dice roll to buy some started gear in the Keep on the Borderlands, then just started doing the beginning quests.

Though if you don't have Keep on the Borderlands I'm sure you could just buy stuff from the different vendors in Stormreach.

Iirc, if you take any break from the flow of a new Veteran Character - including logging off and then back on - you're done and sent into the game world. Perhaps hitting the store is included in this list? Dunno, but wouldn't be surprised.

If you roll your Daily Dice and eat the XP token, that will also error you out up there.

That said, I can't think of anything in the Starter gear worth hassling with a ticket on.

Worst case, run Home Sweet Sewer where you literally hit nothing, just run to the end and back with dogs nibbling your heels.
Even 2 or 3 times if you need to. You'll have some lowbie gear to wear/use/sell and you're good to go.

Pretty sure there is a guy at the top of the spire where you arrive from the Vet airship who gives you your choice of starter weapon. The rest of the gear is from the Minotaur on the airship though, so that stuff is gone.
