Default What is it at endgame that makes Inquisitive OP?

I am playing an Ranger Inquisitive and getting closer to my first Epics run now. I was plannng on spending a lot of time at endgame and then running some EPLs after that.

Im not threatened by a nerf because i am Ranger class after all. What is it at endgame that makes Inquisitive OP?

    Thanks!

I'm not particularly geared so my Inq isn't incredible compared to some of the folks out there, but from what I can tell the major factors are:

    - Fires two bolts in the time a Great Crossbow fires one, but doubleshot applies normally rather than with the reduction that repeaters suffer

    - Everything you could want is in one tree (plus a splash into Harper) so it stacks particularly well with inherent class features or enhancements that don't require a lot of extra points (eg Rogue Sneak Attack and Eldritch Knight spellsword both scale with class level)

    - Law Dice scale with Ranged Power even better than Sneak Attack, which was in vogue during Ravenloft

    - Powerful, (mostly) unique Action Boost

    - Observation, which stacks with other sources of fortification bypass, provides more bypass than most other enhancement lines can offer

    - Shiradi revamp helps it a lot. The combo of Hunt's End + Shoot Later gives incredible burst damage, which is only rivaled by Arrow of Slaying. One video I saw in R10 Subversion dropped the boss ~40% with the latter combo

Lots of attacks per second together with a nice per-hit damage bonus with the Law damage. Even if you don't have other bonuses to damage, the rate of fire with a solid To Hit and the Law damage and Int-to-damage bonus from Harper alone are enough to make it acceptable. Add in a good amount of Sneak Attack damage (with Deception or something similar to make the Sneak damage actually happen) and you have something really solid.

I hope they don't nerf Inquisitive too much because it's nice to have a build that can carry even a character that is otherwise mediocre.

I watched a streamer the other night playing Inq with a trio and omg they were absolutely shredding the content at endgame and it was a lot fun to watch.

It got me to thinking about the upcoming nerf and while i do understand the Inquisitor class mechanics i dont understand what people are doing at end game that is so magical that no one could forsee its OP status even at its inception. With all the pieces to the puzzle and dedicated programs that should be able to piece together all possible scenarios of builds pure or MC should be able to see W T F is The F.

Ive only been around for a short while but i can clearly see the ploy and all the tools of damage control. Some people will adherently support the status quo Fn pathetic and disappointing to say the least.

Thanks for your replies very kind

    compared to other ranged builds.

double shot with dual crossbows, means at end game you will often (~80% of the time, not even counting boosts) hit 4 times per attack animation
