Default Req Wiki User: Legendary Green Steel updates

Here's some expanded info regarding the somewhat less known about the larger set bonus...

    Legendary Green Steel:

    Escalation Bonus:
+1 Dodge Cap. Base amount for triggering bonus.
For each +3 Escalation Augments inserted, gain Dodge Cap +1%.
This means that the total Dodge cap is actually +9% from Legendary Green Steel fully loaded with Unique Escalation Augments. (8 items, 3 augment slots each - +1% Dodge each fully loaded item, hence 8% from items + 1% from Escalation Set Bonus triggering, 9% maximum)

    Ethereal Bonus:
+1 Incorporeal. Base amount for triggering bonus.
For each Ethereal Augment inserted, gain Incorporeal +0.5%.
This means that the total increase to Incorporeal is actually +13% from Legendary Green Steel fully loaded with Unique Ethereal Augments. (8 items, 3 augment slots each - +1.5% Incorpreal each fully loaded item, hence 12% from items + 1% from Ethereal Set Bonus, 13% maximum) Each Ethereal Bonus can only be obtained from a Unique Augement, so two Tier 1 Earth Escalation Ethereal Augments will not provide more than +0.5% Incorporeal bonus.

    Escalation Bonus (2+ Set Bonus)
Is triggered from having 1 LGS item that has been instilled with an Immortals Heart and equipping a second LGS item. Escalation Augments must number more than the other installed Augment types (Opposition or Dominion) to trigger Escalation Set Bonus. (Two items with 5 Augment Slots installed requires 3 or more Augment Slots with Escalation Augments)

    Ethereal Bonus (4+ Set Bonus)
Is triggered from having 3 LGS items that have been instilled with an Immortals Heart and equipping a fourth LGS item with more than half of the installed Augment slots inserted with Ethereal Augments than the other type (Material) to trigger Ethereal Set Bonus. (Four items with 8 total Augment Slots installed, requires 5 or more Augment Slots with Ethereal Augments)

    5 Set Bonus
Is triggered from having 4 LGS items that have been instilled with an Immortals Heart and equipping a fifth LGS item, with a majority (more than half) of the installed Augments being of the appropriate set. (eg, more than half the installed Augment slots with Dominion, and more than half the installed Augment slots with Ethereal to have the 5 Set Bonus of Mind Spike).

It is possible to trigger all three set bonus; Escalation (2+), Ethereal (4+), and Whispers of Life (5+) by having 4 Empty LGS items infused with an Immortals Heart, and only 1 LGS with 1 ANY/Escalation/Ethereal Augment slotted in. As this fits the criteria for the Escalation bonus, Ethereal bonus, and the Whispers of Life bonus to triggering (more than half the slotted Augments are Escalation + Ethereal in majority.

I have not observed any higher set bonus so far, but will continue testing to eliminate possibilities to as much as I can make (I'm short on large ings). Lamannia uptime pending.

Hope someone can update the Wiki over the values for the Dodge and Incorporeal Bonus type at least. Well, making it look nice too since I'm not good at that. And I've forgotten my login and not got time to go hunting for that whilst Lamannia is up.

Oh if the Devs are wondering, I'll be bringing in a "new" level 20/21 over soon to try that new Stance out. So should give a good indicator of whether its enough, too much, etc. I'm not JUST testing my own interests

    Dominion Bonus
+6% Spell Point Set Bonus. Base amount for triggering bonus.
For each Unique Dominion Augments inserted, gain +2% Spell Point Bonus.
This means that the total possible Spell Point increase is actually +54% from Legendary Green Steel fully loaded with Unique Dominion Augments. (8 items, 3 augment slots each - +6% Spell Points each fully loaded item, hence 48% from items + 6% from Escalation Set Bonus triggering, 54% Spell Point bonus)

Will update more as I get to it. If any Dev is reading this, when is Lamannia coming down? Want to get as much of this fully tested out before it comes down.

    :: edit ::

Well it seems Lamannia is coming down within the hour if not right now as I type this.

    Material Bonus:
5% Spell Crit Damage, and 1% Physical Crit Damage bonus for Triggering Bonus.
For each Unique Material Augments inserted, +2% Spell Crit Damage and +1% Physical Crit Damage.
This means that the total possible Crit Damage increase is actually +53% for Spells and 25% for Physical Damage from Legendary Green Steel fully loaded with Unique Material Augments. (8 items, 3 augment slots each - +6% Spell Crit Damage and +1% Physical Crit Damage from each fully loaded item, hence 48% from items + 5% from Material Set Bonus triggering, 53% Spell Crit Damage bonus. With 24% from items + 1% from Material Set Bonus trigger, 25% Physical Crit Damage bonus)

Unfortauntely I was out of time before I could move on to Opposition for exact testing before Lamannia came down. Or if there is an "Elemental" Bonus set.

So for the data in a sort of tabled form:

Number of Unique Augments Dominion Escalation Opposition Ethereal Material
1 Spell Point +2% Dodge Cap +0 +2% HP Incorporeal +0.5% Physical +1% Crit Damage, Spell Crit Damage +2%
2 Spell Point +4% Dodge Cap +0 +4% HP Incorporeal +1.0% Physical +2% Crit Damage, Spell Crit Damage +4%
3 Spell Point +6% Dodge Cap +1 +6% HP Incorporeal +1.5% Physical +3% Crit Damage, Spell Crit Damage +6%
4 Spell Point +8% Dodge Cap +1 +8% HP Incorporeal +2.0% Physical +4% Crit Damage, Spell Crit Damage +8%
5 Spell Point +10% Dodge Cap +1 +10% HP Incorporeal +2.5% Physical +5% Crit Damage, Spell Crit Damage +10%
6 Spell Point +12% Dodge Cap +2 +12% HP Incorporeal +3.0% Physical +6% Crit Damage, Spell Crit Damage +12%
7 Spell Point +14% Dodge Cap +2 +14% HP Incorporeal +3.5% Physical +7% Crit Damage, Spell Crit Damage +14%
8 Spell Point +16% Dodge Cap +2 +16% HP Incorporeal +4.0% Physical +8% Crit Damage, Spell Crit Damage +16%
9 Spell Point +18% Dodge Cap +3 +18% HP Incorporeal +4.5% Physical +9% Crit Damage, Spell Crit Damage +18%
10 Spell Point +20% Dodge Cap +3 +20% HP Incorporeal +5.0% Physical +10% Crit Damage, Spell Crit Damage +20%
11 Spell Point +22% Dodge Cap +3 +22% HP Incorporeal +5.5% Physical +11% Crit Damage, Spell Crit Damage +22%
12 Spell Point +24% Dodge Cap +4 +24% HP Incorporeal +6.0% Physical +12% Crit Damage, Spell Crit Damage +24%
13 Spell Point +26% Dodge Cap +4 +26% HP Incorporeal +6.5% Physical +13% Crit Damage, Spell Crit Damage +26%
14 Spell Point +28% Dodge Cap +4 +28% HP Incorporeal +7.0% Physical +14% Crit Damage, Spell Crit Damage +28%
15 Spell Point +30% Dodge Cap +5 +30% HP Incorporeal +7.5% Physical +15% Crit Damage, Spell Crit Damage +30%
16 Spell Point +32% Dodge Cap +5 +32% HP Incorporeal +8.0% Physical +16% Crit Damage, Spell Crit Damage +32%
17 Spell Point +34% Dodge Cap +5 +34% HP Incorporeal +8.5% Physical +17% Crit Damage, Spell Crit Damage +34%
18 Spell Point +36% Dodge Cap +6 +36% HP Incorporeal +9.0% Physical +18% Crit Damage, Spell Crit Damage +36%
19 Spell Point +38% Dodge Cap +6 +38% HP Incorporeal +9.5% Physical +19% Crit Damage, Spell Crit Damage +38%
20 Spell Point +40% Dodge Cap +6 +40% HP Incorporeal +10.0% Physical +20% Crit Damage, Spell Crit Damage +40%
21 Spell Point +42% Dodge Cap +7 +42% HP Incorporeal +10.5% Physical +21% Crit Damage, Spell Crit Damage +42%
22 Spell Point +44% Dodge Cap +7 +44% HP Incorporeal +11.0% Physical +22% Crit Damage, Spell Crit Damage +44%
23 Spell Point +46% Dodge Cap +7 +46% HP Incorporeal +11.5% Physical +23% Crit Damage, Spell Crit Damage +46%
24 Spell Point +48% Dodge Cap +8 +48% HP Incorporeal +12.0% Physical +24% Crit Damage, Spell Crit Damage +48%

The Bonus for triggering each Set Bonus are not included in the table above, and has their own amounts on triggering:

    Dominion Escalation Opposition Ethereal Material
+6% Spell Point Dodge Cap +1 +6% HP Incorporeal +1% Physical +1% Crit Damage, Spell Crit Damage +5%

The only one that may not be accurate, is the Opposition set, however, given that I've managed to isolate the exact fomula for the other 4 Bonus types from tests over at Lamannia, it "should" be accurate as well.

Hope this helps players looking for info on LGS Set bonus, and for someone at Wiki to update it.

Awesome thread. Is it possible to have multiple sets going at once? So lets say I have these 4 items:

    Augment 1 Augment 2 Augment 3
    Item 1 Eth/Opp Eth/Opp Eth/Opp
    Item 2 Eth/Opp Eth/Opp Eth/Opp
    Item 3 Eth/Opp Eth/Opp Eth/Opp
    Item 4 Mat/Opp Mat/Opp Mat/Opp

Would I end up with 30% hp, 5.5% incorp, +4 physical crit damage and 11% spell crit damage?

Can't be 100% certain as I didn't have time to finish testing for clashing and equal amounts of Opposition/Escalation/Dominion and Material/Ethereal types. Only some of the combinations was tested. But from the testing I was able to perform before Lamannia collapsed around me...

As the Set Bonus only applies to the dominant or majority Augment that has been inserted, you will get the following (Assuming Augments are Unique and non duplicates):

    Opposition: +30% HP (6% Set Bonus, + 24% - from 12 Opposition Augments)
    Ethereal: +5.5% Incorporeal (1% Set Bonus, + 4.5% - from 9 Ethereal Augments)

Although, there was talk from various sources that there could be specific combinations to get more than one bonus working together. But these I have not seen proven yet, and ran out of time before I could confirm via testing.

I can confirm the following info that may help clear a few things:

LGS 5 Item Set, (Goggles, Helm, Necklace, Bracers, Gloves)

    Goggles: T1;Positive,Escalation,Ethereal
    Helm:
    Necklace:
    Bracers:
    Gloves:

    Grants the following Set Bonus:
Escalation Bonus (As there is no other Dominion or Opposition Augment to compete with)
Ethereal Bonus (As there is no Material Augment to compete with)
Whispers of Life (As Escalation and Ethereal Bonus are both active)

It changes when an Augment is no longer the dominant/majority all together. For example:

LGS 5 Item Set, (Goggles, Helm, Necklace, Bracers, Gloves)

    Goggles: T1;Positive,Escalation,Ethereal
    Helm: T1;Positive,Dominion,Ethereal
    Necklace:
    Bracers:
    Gloves:

    Grants the following Set Bonus:
Ethereal Bonus (As there is no Material Augment to compete with)

Neither Dominion nor Escalation are granted because Augments for both number 1 (each), so there is no dominant Augment for that set bonus. So no bonus is granted.

Because only Ethereal Bonus is active, but not Dominion or Escalation, neither Mind Spike (Dominion + Ethereal) or Whispers of Life (Escalation + Ethereal) will be granted.

Hope that helps clear up a bit more about LGS set bonus.

    1. A Material Set requires that you have 4 (Four) Legendary Green Steel Accessories.
    2. 3 (Three) of those Legendary Green Steel Accessories will need to have had an Immortals Hearts fitted into them.
    3. Each of the Immortals Hearts costs 5000 Runes to trade in at the last altar in Epic Shroud.
    4. Then count the total amount of Augments you have ready to fit into the Accessories. Then count the total amount of Augments that use the Material type in its construction.
    5. So long as you have more Augments that use Material than half of the total amount of Augments you are going to use, you will get the Material set bonus. (eg. The set bonus augment you want / Total amount of Augments used must be > (greater) than 0.5 for it to be active).

    For example:

This will give you the Material set bonus

    A.
You have 4 (Four) Legendary Greensteel Accessories.
3 (Three) of them have Immortals Hearts fitted into them.
You have 1 (One) Fire Material Escalation augment that is ready to fit into any of the Accessories. You fit the augment into the Accessory.
This now gives you Escalation set bonus (because there is only 1 Escalation augment, and that is greater than half of the total augments fitted in, or 1 Escalation augment divided by 1 augment fitted in all of the Accessories gives 1, which is higher than 0.5 that's required to trigger the set bonus).
This also gives you the Material set bonus (because there is only 1 Material augment, and that is greater than half of the total augments fitted in, 1 Material augment divided by 1 augment fitted in all of the Accessories gives 1, which is higher than 0.5 that's required to trigger the set bonus).

    B.
You have 5 (Five) Legendary Greensteel Accessories.
4 (Four) of them have Immortals Hearts fitted into them.
You have 1 (One) Fire Material Opposition augment that is ready to fit into any of the Accessories. You fit the augment into the Accessory.
This now gives you Opposition set bonus (Because there is only 1 Opposition augment, and that is greater than half of the total augments fitted in, 1 Opposition divided by 1 augment fitted in all of the Accessories gives you 1, which is higher than 0.5 that's required to trigger the set bonus).
This also gives you the Material set bonus (because there is only 1 Material augment, and that is greater than half of the total augments fitted in, 1 Material augment divided by 1 augment fitted in all of the accessories gives you 1, which is higher than 0.5 that's required to trigger the set bonus).
This also gives you the Ender set bonus (because both the Material set bonus AND the Opposition set bonus is active).

This will NOT give you the Material set bonus

You have 4 (Four) Legendary Greensteel Accessories.
3 (Three) of them have Immortals Hearts fitted into them.
You have 1 (One) Fire Material Escalation augment that is ready to fit into any of the Accessories. You also have a Fire Ethereal Escalation augment ready. You fit both augments into the Accessories.
This now gives you Escalation set bonus (because there is 2 Escalation augments, and that is greater than half of the total augments fitted in, or 2 Escalation augment divided by 2 augment fitted in all of the Accessories gives 1, which is higher than 0.5 that's required to trigger the set bonus).
You will NOT have the Material set bonus OR the Ethereal set bonus (because there is 1 Material augment and 1 Ethereal augment, and 1 Material augment divided by 2 augment fitted in all of the Accessories gives 0.5, which is equal or lower than 0.5, so it will not trigger the Material or Ethereal set bonus).

Hope that helps clears things up a bit.

If you need more information on actually crafting Legendary Green Steel, I would recommend reading up on the wiki and checking some of the crafters out there first.

Unknown, as I only have one particular set remaining and those features have been untouched by the stat squish, but I am aware that at least the Opposition set was altered. So it has changed, but which sets have changed specifically, I can not yet say. Will need to wait for Lamannia to come up and it's not got heavy doses of "this NEEDS testing now" prioty so I can take LGS crafting mats over and then test them out again to get some idea of what what the pattern is being followed as now for each set.
