Need help on Argonnessen..

While I was playing my main today, 3BC Ghost of a chance. I encountered massive lag and the game froze and crashed after some time. Now when I try to re-log into the game I get as far as receiving character data and everything just comes to a halt. I can log into other worlds and play the characters there with no issues. Ive tried a soft and hard reboot.

Have you tried editing 'UserPreferences.ini' as per: https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...=1#post6049465? Another option would be to 'power cycle' (reboot) your Router (not reset) if editing the UserPreferences.ini had no effect. Because the server is functional but needs to clear your Character login debris.

Well I gave that a shot and it didn't work. Took me a bit to find the file... not at all tech savvy. Since I don't have a router (is a cable modem the same thing?) that's out too.

Below is what the file looked like after I deleted the old stuff, rebooted, tried to log in again to no avail on Argonnessen and then logged into Cannith.
