The premise of this thread is to recommend improvements at 1-20 levels. I am doing 3 racial reincarnations (1)
for my drow. My drow is primarily a mage with some tanking abilities and thieving abilities. Yes...he's going multi classed and I primarily solo the game. (I should have selected a fighter or paladin later not at 1st or 2nd level). My 1st 3 levels or just being run on elite.
1. Stealthy Repossession Level 2-4; On elite my drow 1 ftr 1 thief 2 mage I am unable to run on elite solo because I can not charm or use sleep on the kobold prophets. No particular school enhancements are selected at level 4. In the interest of not dying or failing this dungeon will ran at level 5. At level 5, the character has +5 spell enhancement weapon. That should allow the character to have a good chance of success when casting sleep or charm person. Invisibility should allow a character to pull switches and open doors without losing invisibility.
2. On Drow: please go back and fix the Drow class to a 36 point build. I love Drow but after 3 racial reincarnations I will not select Drow voluntarily. Drizzt is why I love the Drow but I would not choose Drow in DDO for this prime stat build disadvantage.
3. Please have a harbor store in the harbor with +1 weapons with ghost touch on them so I can start playing reaper mode at low levels. Remove low level minimum use up to level 5. That will encourage more low level game play. Be able to buy a plain item of feather-fall or water-breathing in a harbor store or put in free agent & guild stores. This about convenience rather than need for the last two. This limitation forced me to learn cannith crafting as an alternative.
4. For VIP's, allow them to keep heroic favor when at least racial reincarnating.
5. Fix Sneak: a character should be to open a door without losing sneaking mode. I get when a monster is looking directly at the door that they should be become alarmed.
6. I hate losing my inventory slots! Extremely annoying and irritating!
7. In the guild/free agent/or market stores, please sell +1 mithril chain and mithril plate. At the market place, go back to the old way where a person can buy cure serious wounds potions, rage potions, etc...etc...
8. Swim, Jump, & Balance should be available for every class at the cost of one point a piece as available for any class of character.
9. On Arch-mage enhancement, energy of the scholar should be a point a piece for an increase of 30 spell points per enhancement point used. Instead of 6 enhancements points, a character should select energy of the scholar for 3 enhancement points for a total of 90 spell points.
10. Scroll cases to clear space in inventory. Some type of bag to hold general useless **** for books or items needed to qualify for raids or quests.
11. Cannith Crafing is nice. Tutorials need to be update file 403 or 404 error. Shout out to Gingerspice for his guide to Cannith Crafting. Very helpful and informative!
12. Have a much easier way to get into Ravenloft. Finally discovered that Into the Mists will allow me access to Ravenloft (have not run it yet but will.) DDOwiki helped in that regard.
13. Fix stone of change adamantine ritual (4 lightning split soarwood) i have only managed to attain one item. Make it hard to obtain but not near impossible.
14. The spell Trap a Soul for wizard/sorcerer is level 8 but for warlocks the spell is level 6. Make this spell consistent by being level 6 or level 8 across the board. Now, I would recommend the spell be lowered to level 6 because the only real use of the spell is for Cannith crafting. (Sorry, I never used the spell when I was level 20 as a wizard.)
