    Default Henshin spells

Does they benifit from spell crit modifiers? If they do- is it worth taking magical training for 5% crit?

Henshin abilities scale with melee power
The henshin is no longer caster based
    So, no

I know that they scale from melee power and i dont asked about it. I asked whether they benifit from +spell critical chance from items. They are still spells.

Since literally no one in the community knows the truth- both forums and ingame- i bought two dire rings and tested it myself. Turns ouy they totally DO benifit from spell critical chance. Fire part crit from dire combustive ring and force part crit from dire kinetic. One question remains- does it worth 1 feat to take magical training for the 5% crit boost? Totally have space for it, if i remove spring attack or stunning blow.

Spring Attack has been on the "not worth it" list for some years. So I'd say give the +crit a go and see how it plays out for ya.

    Thanks for that info,
I would say its not worth it...
On my 30 henshin there was no room for items for dire,
And besides its only 5% so 1 in 20,
    And what is your spellpower??
    It might be double damage?
And on henshin their caster abilities like wave and cauldron are relatively weak,
Not where the dps is, which is staff dps

However energy criticals from epic pl, would be worth turning on

Totally worth taking magical training if you can fit it in IMO, as healing ki benefits from positive spellpower & critical chances too - my own capped light side pure bladeforged monk (primarily shintao admittedly) has a rather tasty standing positive spellpower of about 500 with 32% crit chance (or more depending on destiny) & I do a lot of party healing on him. The extra SPs & echoes of power will also let you power a number of destiny & racial abilities.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was, now what's it is weird and scary to me.

    My privous build was this

    1 Cleave, Power Attack, Thf
    2 Dodge
    3 Mobility
    6 Great Cleave, Precision
    9 ITHF
    12 Imp Crit- Bludgeoning
    15 GTHF
18 Stunning Blow or Spring attack

I can either drop mobility and take Magical Training and Stunning Blow or drop stunning blow/spring attack and take magical training. What is the better choice?

Also there is an option of taking 1 level of wizard- i get magical training for free, mental toughness for 1% crit, AM sla (probably invis), AM crit enchancement (2% force and 1% fire). But i want capstone in henshin- its look very good.

Since the pass the Henshin & Shintao capstones have become very, very tasty indeed & I'd suggest you don't pass up those bonuses. The best bet would probably be to ditch spring attack since it's very easy to max out your dodge through gear and enhancements and a henshin really benefits from standing their ground and fighting in one place vs. moving around, which is the other real point behind spring attack - cauldron of fire is great for it's offensive and defensive benefits with that capstone even without the AoE damage too. Stunning blow is very hard to get effective DCs without the fighter enhancements & bonus feats so that'd be right out too IMO - use your regular monk finishers, henshin get access to the whole range thanks to the tier 5 enhancement.
