I tend not to do much with the chat channels, though really should set up some aliases or macros, since they can be great for trappers to throw up a warning fast, before someone charges ahead

Hotbars-wise I usually have around 12 or so on-screen, though they may end up with empty spaces depending on the characters - I'll always keep the essentials in the same place though.

As well as being informative, some of the flavour text on the buff/debuff icons is good for a laugh... "something smells - oh wait, it's you"

One thing you forgot - you can have customised metamagic settings by right-clicking on the spell in your hotbar. I often have a handful of duplicates of the same spell with different metamagic setups, typically healing spells, so ones within easy hotkey reach have quicken & empower for in-combat use & on a more out-of-the-way bar there'll be unmeta'ed versions for out of combat use. A related tip, damage over time spells like Niac's are good to use this way too, firing standard versions at first then the fully maximised & empowered one for the 3rd & subsequent stacks if they're needed (eg. on boss fights).

Oooohh rainbow wings! Suddenly I have a reason to try playing reaper Incidentally, I remember when there was the rainbow skin on Celestia, it'd be nice if we could get that back, or on a new item maybe for cosmetic-creation purposes? Maximum multicoloured fabulosity must be achieved!
