    Default Can´t renew subscription

    Hey guys,

    my subscription (3 months) ran out last night, and now I can´t renew it in the DDO store, because of the 2002 error....
    There´s also no option to subscribe on the ddo.com account managemant page, so now what ?

    Edit: The account has been active and on auto-renew since 2010, so why no auto-renew this time, my CC is still valid and buying stuff in steam works.

    Update2: Just called my Credit-Card company and got the confirmation that the card is working and there wasn´t even a billing attempt from Steam or Standing Stone Games.
    So the problem is most likely on their end, with the transition away from Turbine and all, and it sucks!

    I am having the same error. It won't let me use my steam funds nor will it let me change my payment method...

    Ok i got around this by going to my steam directory and going to ddo's directory and running the game launcher from there. That allows you to set up a payment with a credit card of your choice

    Thanks for that idea, I just tried that and it worked.

    I closed steam, opend the DDO folder and started the launcher from there. When I opend the DDO Store on the login screen, there were finally 2 options - My stored Credit Card (CC) or choose another payment option.

    Interesting detail:
    The stored CC option did not work, it returned with an error-message, that my CC was expired.

    So I picked the other one, picked CC payment again and entered my current CC info again - and horray, everything worked fine.

    So I´m thinking that CC data from the old Turbine account (with expired valid thru data) differs from the current CC data in Steam (with the current valid thru data) and that´s whats causing a conflict and therefore an error. But with Steam active you can´t select another payment method, and therefore always end up with the error message.

    Glad to be of help.

    I just wish SSG would have the courtesy to help those of us who are having these issues instead of ignoring us. =(

    They should have helped when the original poster had problems instead of waiting for a player to have to figure it out.

    The problem is ... my money is already in the steam wallet .. and cant refund because i pay with "pagseguro" so, i do that 1 hour before this error "2002". They (Standing stones games) did not say anything about this error. I sent 3 tickets and they did not respond :/ but Cordovan says.. its can be a error from steam... just waiting for the best...

    ahh that sucks!

    I wrote to customer support from both Steam and SSG and so far a guy from Steam wrote back, telling me to really really check that I got my Credit Card Number right.... lol

    So far only three people had this problem - or at least wrote about it here - so until there´s a ton of subscriptions running out soon and they all can´t renew it, I wouldn´t expect a fix of this issue anytime soon.
