    Default Warlock Sorc (Enlightend Knight)

This may have been talked about or built already but searching I couldn't find anything. Would a Warlock/Sorc be a viable split? I dont know the exact split between them but I was trying to get a melee caster/buffer from the mix, use warlock's aura to stay alive and continually damage while you use sorc for some spells but mostly EK for melee damage. Because EK tree is about increase spell power which should boost the Aura for warlock, any other points can go into savant to increase the power more?

    Warlock Pros:
    -Aura for Damage
    -Aura for Saves
    -Aura for Heals
    -Boost to Spell Power
    -Boost to Sorc Summons

    Sorc Pros:
    -Weapon Imbune's
    -Tens. Transformation
    -Eldritch Strike and Tempest
    -Medium Armor/Sheild Prof

Feats wise and Abillity Scores im lost. My "Test" (Level 7) was a Drow 18 Cha, 12 Con, dump in Str I believe. And I picked up Power Attack and Cleave. Any input? Thank you!

I'll cut to the chase: no, it's not viable. EK DPS is terrible because (A) the imbues don't scale with Spellpower the way Spiritual Retribution does, (B) the SP cost & cooldowns for EK Cleave & Tempest are too high relative to their power, IMO, and (C) there's none of the tasty crit & Melee Power bonuses all the other melee PrEs have been getting for the last 2-3 years.

The only things good about EK are the defensive buffs, IMO, primarily the Imp Mage Armor / Shield / Arcane Barrier line. I would make a flavor tank build with EK as a complement before I tried to make a melee-DPS build based on EK.

My point isn't "don't make a melee build which uses EK;" it's "don't expect EK to do the heavy lifting for your DPS, b/c it's weaksauce."

Is there anything else you would suggest If I wanted to add melee/rng damage with Aura? Just be pure warlock?

or if I wanted to stick with imbunes do AA since that scales with SP?
    Shaman Class?

As I see it, you basically have two options: stick with pure warlock to max out your caster DPS but have poor melee DPS (really just a way of proccing Spiritual Retribution and building up Arcane Warrior stacks); MC with one of the more front-loaded melee PrEs like Swashbuckler or Kensei, basically trading caster DPS for melee DPS, so it ends up a wash at best and a gimp hack-of-all-trades at worst. So pick your poison and stick to it.
