    Default Mnemonica The Favored Soul

I did not invent this split, but i have been playing and adjusting it for a couple of years now.
This is a max DC build focus on highest DC possible on both Evocation AND Necromancy aswell as being able to contribute somewhat with decent AOE and single target DPS.

Impressive. I have been considering the idea of a max D.C. variation on my FVS. Your DC's put my build to shame right now.

I'd replace Diadem with the pano circle with the potency and insight spellpower. Your hellball will thank you and really is the 2 DC needed at that point? +65 insight will help with fire and light when not hellballing.

Also instead of toughness if you have dex requirement get deflect arrows. 30 hp is really isn't much when your running around with 1200. Deflecting one arrow is easily more HP but it won't show up on the character sheet and that's important for some.

Was thinking along the same lines. Diadem is good if you're mostly single-school, and awesome if you have something to auto-charge it for you, like Death Aura for a Necro Wizard. But getting it's bonus is really situational for a more multi-school caster without auto-charge. Though Diadem didn't exist yet last time I was FvS instead of Clr. Does Archon charge it? For Evo, maybe?

Pansophic for heavy-duty nuking, for sure. Personally I like Halcyonia, mainly just for the 10% SP discount, when I'm mostly DC-casting.

Just checked it. Archon counts as Conjuration.

    Definitely swap helms.

I would also replace arcane insight for greater ruin or burst of glacial wrath.

Since your instakill is so limited/expensive I would probably drop necromancy specialist twist and necro focus feats (4 dc loss) and use the necromancy spells on low fort enemies. Alternatively turn off heighten and emolden from your 2 instakill spells and still target low fort enemies saving you a bunch sp.

I have no issues getting the stacks i want, i allways either debuff with Doom or Curse and back it up with Slay Living / Destruction combo keeping it at max stack, same with Evocation, Soundburst spell + SLA and Implosion ticks will keep it max..

My instakills limited and expensive? Slay living and Destruction cost 53 base as you can see, same with Implosion, when i use lesser Heighten clicks 45sp and Litany clickies its 22 sp each.. I Proc +60 temp sp every 45sec with archon and have 4k Sp This is NOT a nuker build Ruin and Hellball combined with all the SLA from EA is more then enough for my rotation and why take glacial wrath feat cost 32 sp compared to my 9 sp Soundburst SLA or better yet the real spell. And Arcane insight is needed to reach the treshold of LE drow atm untill i get my final twist, and i like to instakill high fort mobs so it stays =)

Does Glacial Wrath grant helpless like sound burst? Sound burst is only 6 second duration but the cool down on the real spell allows for continued stuns if needed. Soundburst and Divine Wrath are my bread and butter.

That's what makes this game great - so many different ways to look at the game. Enjoy your build
