Old school boxed copy question + (MotU expansion)

Hi there,

I am a recently returned player and I have a question I was wondering if anyone knows the answer to?

I current have a premium account with only the collectors edition of Menace of the underdark expansion regisitered against it. This is a pre-order collectors when it first came out quite a few years ago.

Now my brother has an original unused boxed copy of the game from about 10 years ago still sealed. Is it possible I can use the product key from that boxed copy and will I get anything on my account for doing so?

I plan on buying shadowfell in a couple of months and then going 3 months VIP and I want to make sure everything will work okay before I do anything with this old unused box copy.

An unused original code should grant you 30 days of VIP access to your existing account. If you have any trouble applying it however (because it's so old), toss in a ticket to us and we can sort that out for you. Info is in my signature.
