My character is being saved

I cannot log in. It's been over an hour. I restarted my network, my computer, and flushed the DNS cache as well as renewing my DHCP.

Twice.

I submitted a customer service ticket. The problem happened when I ran a a heroic elite two toed tobias. After we finished, we couldn't finish out. We waited a few minutes and nothing changed (though the quest was complete). We /deathed to get to Korthos, and then I ported to the harbor with the NPC. Once in the harbor, my bank wouldn't open (nothing happened after talking to the harbor dwarf). Next I tried to go through gate to the market, but after going to a loading screen, I would just be in front of the market gate again. Tried that a few times. Couldn't log out or quit the game either. Finally force quit it, and next thing you know, I'm posting this thread.

Please help. I really wanna get that remnant cloak and I just collected 4000 remnants.

Edit: after an hour of playing on Thelanis (with a fresh toon) I have been able to log in on my main server, but only with characters other than the one I was playing when the error occurred.

There's now a group of four people on Khyber that are all having a problem where their characters won't save. This problem seems to be server-wide, and increasing.
